На Донеччині загинула волонтер з Іспанії після того, як російський снаряд потрапив до її автомобіля. Про це повідомив у неділю міністр закордонних справ Хосе Мануель Альбарес.
«Снаряд упав на транспортний засіб, у якому їхала громадянка Іспанії. Вона працювала там у неурядовій організації, яка допомагає з гуманітарною ситуацією в Україні, і ми маємо усне підтвердження її смерті», — заявив він журналістам на саміті G20 в Індії, передає Reuters.
Альбарес не надав додаткової інформації, але іспанські ЗМІ впізнали жінку як Емму Ігуаль, 32-річного директора Road to Relief, некомерційної організації, яка займається евакуацією мирних жителів із лінії фронту в Україні.
НВО повідомила у своєму акаунті в Instagram, що канадський співробітник гуманітарної організації Ентоні Ігнат також загинув і двох інших поранено, коли їхній автомобіль «потрапив під обстріл Росії» у Часовому Яру на сході України в суботу вранці.
У результаті «прямого влучення автомобіль перекинувся і спалахнув», йдеться в повідомленні.
Німецький та шведський волонтери «були тяжко поранені осколками та опіками, але зараз перебувають у стабільному стані в окремих лікарнях далеко від місця події», додано в повідомленні, опублікованому в суботу.
Співробітники гуманітарної місії виїхали зі Слов’янська та прямували до Бахмута для оцінки потреб мирних жителів, які «потрапили під перехресний вогонь» у місті Іванівське.
Президент Володимир Зеленський додав, що двоє волонтерів, які постраждали, доправлені в лікарні Дніпра. Це громадянин Німеччини Мавік Рубен і громадянин Швеції Йохан Матіас, їм надається необхідна допомога.

В Україну повернули тіла 62 полеглих захисників.
Про це повідомив у телеграм-каналі уповноважений з питань осіб, зниклих безвісти за особливих обставин, Олег Котенко.
За його словами, відбулася передача тіл військовослужбовців, які віддали свої життя за Україну. Сьогодні вдалося повернути рідним тіла 62 захисників.
„Репатріація тіл з тимчасово окупованих територій України відбулася за сприяння Мінреінтеграції, Уповноваженого зі зниклих безвісти у співпраці з Об’єднаним центром при СБУ, ЦВС ЗСУ, іншими силовими структурами, відомствами та міжнародними організаціями”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
Процес повернення тіл загиблих українських військових триває. Він відбувається відповідно до норм Женевської конвенції.

Сирія звернулася за допомогою в рамках Механізму цивільного захисту ЄС через два дні після руйнівного землетрусу, повідомляє Європейська комісія.
Європейський комісар із питань гуманітарної допомоги та управління кризовими ситуаціями Янез Ленарчич зазначив, що комісія закликає країни-члени надати допомогу країні, яка постраждала від стихії.
Механізм цивільного захисту Європейського Союзу — найбільша у світі система надання міжнародної координованої оперативної допомоги при надзвичайних ситуаціях. Поросити допомогу в рамках цього механізму може будь-яка країна світу, якщо надзвичайна ситуація перевищує її можливості реагування.
Залежно від характеру стихійного лиха допомога може бути різних форм: пошуково-рятувальні роботи, гасіння пожеж, надання медичного персоналу лікарських засобів та медикаментів.
Система включає різноманітні ресурси та форми допомоги від 27 країн-членів, а також Албанія, Боснія і Герцеговина, Північна Македонія, Ісландія, Чорногорія, Норвегія, Сербія та Туреччина.
З 2001 року Механізм цивільного захисту задіювали шістсот разів у Європейському Союзі та за його межами, зокрема, у зв’язку з війною в Україні, пандемією коронавірусу та лісових пожежах у Європі.

Головнокомандувач збройних сил Фінляндії генерал Тімо Ківінен заявив, що армія його країни готова чинити жорсткий опір росії, якщо та вирішить напасти. За його словами, Фінляндія має значний військовий арсенал, а її військові — високу мотивацію.

Головнокомандувач заявив, що Фінляндія десятиліттями підтримувала готовність до війни саме того типу, що відбувається зараз в Україні, — з масованим використанням вогневої потужності, бронетехніки, а також повітряних сил.
За словами головнокомандувача, Фінляндія накопичила значний арсенал, але, окрім військової техніки, вирішальним фактором є те, що фінські бійці будуть мотивовані боротися.
«Україна виявилася надто жорстким шматком, щоб росія змогла його пережувати. Фінляндія буде такою ж», — наголосив Ківінен.
Він також додав, що вступ Фінляндії до НАТО буде стримуванням від агресії проти неї, але й тоді основна відповідальність за оборону країни все одно буде на Фінляндії.

Армія і правоохоронні органи посилили охорону ключових об’єктів критичної інфраструктури на півдні України, Херсонській та Миколаївській областях через можливість російського вторгнення, про це повідомив Сергій Наєв, командувач Об’єднаних сил Укрінформу в п’ятницю.
Відповідаючи на запитання, чи планує Україна нарощувати спроможності у Херсонській та Миколаївській областях у зв’язку з інформацією щодо можливого вторгнення РФ в східні області з метою отримання контролю над Північно-Кримським каналом.
“Дійсно, така інформація (у ЗМІ — ред.) проходила, але ми вже завчасно провели такі заходи. Ми спланували посилення охорони критично важливих об’єктів. Зокрема, це стосується й водогону нашої дніпровської води до тимчасово окупованої території (Північно-Кримський канал — ред.). Ми всі ці об’єкти посилили – і охорону, і оборону, – і також проводимо визначені контрдиверсійні і контртерористичні заходи”, – зазначив Наєв.
За його словами, до виконання зазначених заходів, крім військовослужбовців, особового складу та підрозділів Служби безпеки України, залучаються Національна поліція та Національна гвардія.
У Американському фонді «Джеймстаун» прогнозують літо буде посушливе, що може змусити Росію отримати контроль над Північно-Кримським каналом, тому на півдні Херсонщини, тому вони закликають українську армію та правоохоронні органи підвищити свою оборону у випадку жорстокого вторгнення Росії.
