Újfajta bűnözési forma terjed Kaliforniában: maszkos, pajszeres bűnözők tucatszám összeverődve egyszerűen elárasztanak különféle boltokat és elvisznek mindent, ami mozdítható. Los Angelesben pénteken újabb támadás volt, de sokukat elkapta a rendőrség.
Pénteken közel tíz rendszám nélküli autó jelent meg egy Los Angeles-i Home Depot körül, majd körülbelül 20 símaszkos férfi kipattant a járművekből és szabályosan megostromolta az üzletet.
Szétverték a boltot és számos munkaeszközt elvittek, főleg pajszereket, kalapácsokat és pörölyöket.
A rendőrség feltartóztatta az egyik autót és négy férfit őrizetbe vettek. Jelenleg a kihallgatásuk folyik.
Kalifornia államban számos hasonló támadás történt az elmúlt két hétben, elsősorban luxusüzleteket céloztak meg a bűnözők, melyeket ahhoz hasonló eszközökkel vertek szét, melyeket most meglovasítottak a Home Depotból.
