Húszi lázadok megtámadtak egy brit (Morning Tide) és az amerikai tulajdonban lévő (Star Nasia) teherszállító hajót keddre virradóra a Vörös-tengeren, kissebb károkat okozva az egyik hajóban – közölte a brit haditengerészet tengerhajózási biztonsági információs szolgálata (UKMTO).
A lázadó csoport katonai szóvivője közölte hogy rakétákat lőttek ki a két hajóra. Az UKMTO jelentése szerint a hajó parancsnoka „egy kis járművet észlelt a bal oldalán”, mielőtt a támadók rálőttek a teherhajóra.
A támadásban a legénység egyik tagja sem sérült meg, csupán a fedélzeti ablakok rongálódtak meg kisebb mértékben, a hajó biztonságosan folytatni tudta az útját.
Grant Shapps brit védelmi miniszter hétfőn kijelentette, hogy Nagy-Britannia szükség esetén nem fog habozni, hogy újfent válaszoljon a jemeni húszik támadásaira.
Shapps elmondta, hogy az eddig végrehajtott brit válaszcsapások a nemzetközi joggal összhangban, valamint önvédelemből történtek. A legutóbbi brit légitámadások három olyan katonai létesítmény ellen irányultak, amelyek „11 különálló célpontot” támadtak a Vörös-tengeren – fűzte hozzá.
A brit és az amerikai fegyveres erők múlt szombaton tizenhárom jemeni helyszínen összesen 36 célpontra mértek precíziós csapásokat, válaszul a húszik által kereskedelmi és hadihajók ellen elkövetett folytatódó vörös-tengeri támadásokra.
A brit kötelék precíziós irányított bombákat vetett be a jemeni katonai célpontok ellen.
Az akcióhoz Ausztrália, Bahrein, Kanada, Dánia, Hollandia és Új-Zéland nyújtott támogatást.

A támadás 110 kilométerre délkeletre Áden városától történt – ismertette a brit haditengerészet közel-keleti hajózási útvonalakat felügyelő, tengeri kereskedelmi műveletekért felelős szervezete (UKMTO).
A tájékoztatás szerint a hajó kapitánya tűzről is beszámolt, amelyet időközben sikerült eloltani. „A hajó és legénysége biztonságban van, és halad tovább következő úticélja felé” – tette hozzá az UKMTO.
Az Irán hátszelét élvező jemeni húszi lázadók katonai szóvivőjük, Jahja Szarí útján közölték, hogy rakétákkal „közvetlen találatot értek el” a Marshall-szigetek zászlaja alatt hajózó Genco Picardy nevű teherhajó ellen.
„A haditengerészet nem fog habozni, hogy támadást mérjen Jemen legitim önvédelmi jogának keretében minden veszélyforrásra a Vörös-, illetve Arab-tengeren és folytassa az elnyomott palesztin nép támogatását” – áll Szarí közleményében.
A húszi lázadók számos támadást indítottak a Vörös-tengeren közlekedő – szerintük Izrael felé tartó vagy Izraelt védő – kereskedelmi és hadihajók ellen azóta, hogy Izrael októberben hadműveletet indított a Gázai övezetben a Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezet katonai és politikai gépezetének felszámolására.
A számos drón- és rakétatámadás már a nemzetközi kereskedelemre is hatással volt, több nagyhatalom is aggodalommal figyelte a történéseket, ezért egy közös brit-amerikai hadművelet keretében csapásokat mértek az iszlamista csoport jemeni állásaira az elmúlt napokban.

Enyhén megsérült egy gabonát szállító kereskedelmi hajó az ukrán partoknál, a találatot valószínűleg egy tengeri akna okozta.
A Pivdennyiből induló, búzaszállítmányt szállító hajón Libéria zászlaja volt kitűzve. Ukrán kormányzati források pénteken arról tájékoztatták a Reuterst, hogy a kár valószínűsíthető oka egy úszó tengeri akna volt. A Seagate Navigation, a görögországi székhelyű cég, amely a hajó üzemeltetőjeként szerepel a cég honlapján, még nem válaszolt a lap megkeresésére.
A múlt heti, az ukrajnai Pivdennyi kikötőben egy kereskedelmi hajót ért rakétatámadás után a háborús kockázatra kötött biztosítások díjai az iparági bennfentesek szerint az egyes hajók értékének 3%-ára emelkedtek.
Ukrajna júliusban kilépett az ENSZ által támogatott megállapodásból, amely az ukrán gabona biztonságos szállítását biztosította a Fekete-tengeren keresztül. Azóta Ukrajna azt állítja, hogy Oroszország többször is célba vette az ukrán kikötői infrastruktúrát és tengeri aknákat telepített. A brit Ambrey tengerbiztonsági vállalat információi szerint a hajó a romániai Sulina-csatorna bejáratának közelében futott tengeri aknára még csütörtökön este, de csak kisebb sérüléseket szenvedett és a legénység sem sérült meg. Az incidenst egy ukrán kormányzati forrás is megerősítette, hozzátéve, hogy „valószínűleg egy második világháborús aknáról vagy egy tavaly otthagyott aknákról lehet szó”.
Yoruk Isik, a Bosphorus Observer tanácsadó cég vezetője a Reuters megkeresésére elmondta, hogy a hajó a robbanásban a Kafkametler nevű hajó egyik ballaszttartálya sérült meg. A Kafkametler a MarineTraffic hajókövető weboldal csütörtök esti adatai szerint a Duna-csatornában vetett horgonyt az ukrajnai Vilkove terminál közelében.
Az incidensre azt követően került sor, hogy Oroszország júliusban visszalépett az ENSZ által támogatott gabonaegyezménytől, amely lehetővé tette Ukrajna számára, hogy gabonát szállítson egy biztonságos hajózási csatornán keresztül. Azóta Ukrajna ideiglenes „humanitárius folyosót” hozott létre a teherhajók számára, és augusztus óta több hajó is elhagyta az ukrán fekete-tengeri kikötőket.

A hollandiai Eemshaven kikötőjébe vontatják a múlt szerdán kigyulladt, majd kiégett autószállító teherhajót – tájékoztatott az NL Times című angol nyelvű holland napilap csütörtökön.
A beszámoló szerint az illetékes holland minisztérium közölte, a választás azért esett az Amszterdamtól mintegy 215 kilométerre fekvő Eemshaven kikötőjére, mert közel van a veszteglő hajó jelenlegi tartózkodási helyéhez, a meglévő infrastruktúra és a kikötő által kínált létesítmények pedig lehetőséget biztosítanak a hajó átvizsgálásához és javításához.
Fontos továbbá, hogy a vontatási távolság lehető legrövidebb legyen az esetleges kockázatok csökkentésére. Az, hogy a vontatás pontosan mikor fog megtörténni, nagymértékben függ az időjárástól, az áramlattól és az árapálytól – közölték.
A hajó nagy részét mostanra átvizsgálták, és nincs arra utaló jel, hogy még mindig tűz lenne a fedélzeten. Ennek ellenére a 64 kilométeres vontatási művelet során a biztonsági szakértők a hajó fedélzetén maradnak – tették hozzá.
A tűz okának felderítésére vizsgálat indult. Információk szerint a tüzet az egyik elektromos autó akkumulátora okozhatta – közölte a holland hírportál.
A mintegy kétszáz méter hosszú, japán tulajdonban lévő, de panamai zászló alatt közlekedő Fremantle Highway a Watt-tengeren, nyílt vízen gyulladt ki eddig ismeretlen okból múlt szerdán. Onnan kelet felé vontatták, Schiermonnikoog sziget közelébe.
A hajó a németországi Bremerhaven kikötőjéből indult el Egyiptom érintésével Szingapúrba, fedélzetén csaknem 3800 személyautóval, köztük 498 elektromos járművel.
A hajó huszonhárom tagú indiai legénységének kimentése során több matróz megsérült, egyikük a mentőhajón életét vesztette.

Olasz különleges erők rohamoztak meg egy Törökországból Franciaországba tartó teherhajót, miután mintegy 15 késsel felfegyverkezett migráns a hajó eltérítésére tett kísérletet.
A migránsok – akik többsége Szíriából, Afganisztánból és Irakból érkezett –, észrevétlenül lopakodtak fel a Galatea Seaways nevű teherhajóra, abban a reményben, hogy Európába jutnak. A török zászló alatt közlekedő, járművek szállítására tervezett hajó 22 fős legénységgel június 7-én indult el a törökországi Topçularból, és a dél-franciaországi Sète felé tartott – közölte a sajtóval az olasz védelmi minisztérium.
Az ANSA hírügynökség értesülései szerint a fedélzetre érve azonban a potyautasokat a legénység felfedezte, akik ezt követően késekkel megpróbálták túszul ejteni a matrózokat.
A hajó kapitányának sikerült rádión segítséget kérnie, Törökország ezt követően jelentette az esetet az olasz hatóságoknak, mivel a hajó már az olasz partok közelében járt.
A hétórás katonai művelet után a különleges erők visszaszerezték az irányítást a hajó felett, és letartóztatták az elkövetőket, akik közül néhányan elbarikádozták magukat a hajó rakterében. A haditengerészet két helikoptere, valamint a parti őrség és a pénzügyőrség hajói is részt vettek a műveletben.
„A hajót már visszafoglalták a hatóságok, és teljes, 22 fős legénység már biztonságban van” – tette hozzá az olasz minisztérium.

A Bloomberg információi szerint egy, egyelőre meg nem nevezett, az Egyesült Arab Emírségek zászlaja alatt haladó teherhajó szenvedett katasztrófát a Perzsa-öbölben, annak iráni partjaitól nagyjából 30 mérföldre (kb. 50 kilométer). A híradás Busehr város kikötőhatóságának az iráni állami hírügynökség részére küldött jelentésén alapul.
Az egyelőre szűkszavú beszámolóból csak annyi derül ki, hogy a teherhajó járműveket szállított, közelebbit azonban nem lehet tudni annak sorsáról és a katasztrófa nagyságáról.
A hajón az előzetes információk szerint 30 fős legénység tartózkodott. A hajó állítólag már el is süllyedt Asaluyeh városának kikötőjénél. A híradás szerint a mentőalakulatok munkáját a rendkívül kedvezőtlen időjárás nehezíti, a mentésben résztvevők egyelőre a legénység tagjainak megtalálására fókuszálnak.
Nemrégiben pedig egy luxusautókat szállító teherhajó szenvedett katasztrófát az Atlanti-óceánon.

Mérgező gáz szivárog egy égő teherhajóból Vancouver-sziget közelében – közölte vasárnapra virradóan a kanadai parti őrség. Az amerikai parti őrség korábban beszámolt arról, hogy a hajóról a viharos időben tengerbe esett 40 konténer.
A máltai zászló alatt közlekedő, Zim Kingston nevű hajó a Juan de Fuca-szoros felé tartott, amely Kanada és az Egyesült Államok határa a kontinens nyugati partján, amikor csütörtökön vízbe esett róla 40 konténer, valamint a fedélzeten maradt konténerek közül több megrongálódott. A hajó lehorgonyzott 70 kilométerre a szorostól.
A kanadai parti őrség a helyi média szerint szombaton napközben kapta az első riasztást arról, hogy a hajó fedélzetén ég két megsérült tartály. Este a CBC tévé már arról számolt be, hogy hat konténer áll lángokban. Egyelőre annyit közöltek a hatóságok, hogy a hajó valamilyen vegyi anyagot szállít, mérgező gáz szivárog a megsérült konténerekből, és két tartály a hajó közelében úszik a vízen.
A parti őrség kijelölt egy másfél kilométer sugarú veszélyzónát a hajó körül. A legénység 16 tagját a szárazföldre szállították, öten pedig a hajón maradtak – tették hozzá, nem pontosítva, hogy ez valamilyen sürgősségi terv részeként történt-e így.

Támadás ért egy izraeli tulajdonban lévő teherhajót szombaton az Indiai-óceánon, közölte az MTI a Háárec izraeli napilapra hivatkozva. Az izraeli újság értesülései szerint a Tyndall nevű teherhajó fedélzetén nem voltak áldozatok. Arról számoltak be, hogy a biztonsági szolgálatok Iránt sejtik a történtek hátterében. A hajót feltehetően rakétatalálat érte, de nem keletkeztek különösebb károk és folytatni tudta útját.
A libériai zászló alatt hajózó Tyndall Szaúd-Arábiából az Egyesült Arab Emírségbe tartott, fedélzetén nem voltak izraeli állampolgárok az izraeli 12-es csatorna tudomása szerint. Az utóbbi időben több rejtélyes támadást is intéztek teherhajók ellen a közel-keleti térségben, miközben kiéleződtek a feszültségek Irán, Izrael és az Egyesült Államok között.
A Háárec című izraeli lap márciusban arról számolt be, hogy komoly gazdasági károkat okozó tengeri viszály folyik Irán és Izrael között. Támadások értek Iránhoz és Izraelhez köthető hajókat is. A Háárec tudni véli, hogy Izrael több tucat iráni olajtankerre mért csapást, több milliárd dolláros kárt okozva Iránnak, sikeresen megzavarva az iszlám köztársaság tengeri szállításait.

Egy hét zárlat után vélhetően hamarosan megindulhat a hajóforgalom a Szuezi-csatornán, ahol a vízi utat egy hétig elzáró teherhajót egyenesbe állították és beindították a motorjait.
A Reuters hírügynökség két forrásra hivatkozva is azt írja, hogy a 400 méter (430 yard) hosszú Ever Given immár a parttal párhuzamosan áll a csatornában, ahol átvizsgálják a járművet, mielőtt elindítanák.
Mint arról több cikkben is beszámoltunk, a panamai zászló alatt közlekedő, japán tulajdonú 200 ezer tonnás monstrum múlt kedden átlósan futott zátonyra a déli csatorna egysávos szakaszán, miután az erős szélben és a porviharban a jármű kormányozhatatlanná vált. A hatalmas jármű beékelődött a csatorna egy szűk szakaszán és egy héten át nem sikerült kiszabadítani.
Az Európát Ázsiával összekötő 193 kilométer hosszú Szuezi-csatornán közlekedik a világ hajókonténereinek körülbelül a harmada, az összes áru globális kereskedelmének mintegy 15 százaléka zajlik itt.
A baleset miatt legkevesebb 369 hajó várt arra, hogy átjusson a csatornán, köztük több tucat konténerszállító hajó, ömlesztettáru-szállító hajó, olajszállító tartályhajó és cseppfolyósított földgázt szállító hajó – mondta Osama Rabie, az SCA elnöke vasárnap az egyiptomi Extra Newsnak.
A leállás napi 14-15 millió dollárba kerül a csatornának(!!!!!!). Miután nem lehetett biztosan tudni, mikor szabadul fel a csatorna, több szállítmányozó döntött úgy, hogy rakományukat átirányítják a Jóreménység fokán, ami mintegy két héttel hosszabbítja meg a szállítási időt és jelentősen növeli az üzemanyagköltségeket.
A konténerhajó kiszabadításának hírére azonnal reagált a tőzsde, a kőolaj ára csökkent, a Brent hordónként 1 dollárral 63,67 dollárra mérséklődött. A tajvani tőzsdén jegyzett Evergreen Marine Corp részvényei 3,3% -kal emelkedtek.
