Két embert mentett ki a rendőrség egy Colorado állambeli Boulderben található házból, miután egy puskákkal és robbanóanyaggal felfegyverkezett férfi túszul ejtette őket – számolt be a Daily Mail.

Órákon át tartott a túszdráma, aminek főszereplője több embert ejtett túszul egy Apple boltban Amszterdam egyik forgalmas negyedében.
A túszejtő nemcsak egy embert ejtett túszul az épületben, akiket végül a rendőrség sikeresen kiszabadított. Több különleges egységet is bevontak az akcióba, hogy ellenőrzés alá tudják vonni a helyzetet a 17 óra 40 perckor kapott riasztást követően.
A rendőrség közleménye szerint a fegyveres túszejtő az utcán feküdt a késő esti órákban, nem messze a bolttól, amikor megérkezett mellé egy robot. A szerkezettel megvizsgálták, hogy van-e robbanóanyag a gyanúsított személynél, miközben megerősítették, már az utolsó túszt is biztonságba helyezték.
A CNA arról ír, hogy Tim Wagemakers, egy független újságíró is az épület közelében tartózkodott, aki azt írta, hogy a helyszínen erősen felfegyverzett rendőrök voltak jelen, és a helyieket arra kérték, maradjanak odabent, illetve kerüljék az ablakokat.

A túszejtő akkor próbált meg kereket oldani, amikor a rendőrségi robot vizet vitt neki, amit ő maga kért. Minden túsz, akit kiszabadítottak, sértetlen, ami a legfontosabb volt a rendőrség számára. A hatóságok szerint a gyanúsított aránytalanul volt felfegyverkezve ahhoz a rabláshoz, amit végre akart hajtani, és igyekeztek vele szót érteni, miszerint nem akarnak erőszakot alkalmazni, de elismerték, az opciók között volt, hogy egy célzott lövéssel likvidálják a gyanúsítottat.
A gyanúsított személy egy 27 éves férfi, akinek amszterdami tartózkodási helyén már házkutatást tartottak. Két lakást is kutatás alá vettek, az egyik a gyanúsított otthona, míg a másik egy olyan helyszín, ahol gyakran tartózkodott.
Kiderült, hogy négy olyan ember is volt az épületben a túszejtés ideje alatt, akik egy földszinti szekrényben rejtőztek el. A túszejtő összesen 200 milliót követelt kriptavalutában, illetve szabad utat, és saját maga hívta fel a rendőrséget, hogy beszéljen velük.
A gyanúsítottnak már korábban is volt dolga a törvénnyel, amikor megsértette a fegyverekről és lőszerekről szóló törvényt. Egyelőre nem világos, hogyan juthatott a túszejtés során használt fegyverekhez a férfi, aki miután földre került a menekülése végén, még eszméleténél volt. Fegyveres férfi ejtett túszokat kedden Amszterdam belvárosában egy Apple-üzletben.
A holland rendőrség Twitter-oldalán közölte, hogy „túszejtés történt” az Apple vállalat márkaboltjában. Legfrissebb értesülések szerint időközben több személy el tudta hagyni az üzletet. A hatóságok „az érintett személyek biztonsága érdekében” nem tettek közzé további információkat.
A rendőrséget késő délután riasztották az üzlethez fegyveres rablás miatt. „A rendőrség nagy erőkkel érkezett ki a helyszínre, hogy úrrá legyen a helyzeten” – tették hozzá a hatóságok.
A NOS holland közszolgálati televízió szerint a feltételezett rablás ezt követően fordult át túszejtésbe.

Firefighters are battling a massive inferno near El Paso International Airport after a reported vehicle explosion at the Sun Metro Transit Operations Center.

Megpróbálták kiváltani a túszejtők fogságából azokat a gyermekeket, akiket még májusban ejtettek fogságba Nigériában. Az akció azonban nem zárult sikerrel, mivel a pénzt lefoglalták, de a túszokat nem engedték el a túszejtők.
Május végén összesen 136 gyermeket raboltak el a nigériai Teginából egy iszlám lányiskolából (eredetileg 150-re becsülték az elraboltak számát).
A túszejtők 30 millió nairát (körülbelül 22,3 millió forintot) követeltek a gyermekek elengedésért cserébe, amelyet a szülőknek az ingó és ingatlan vagyonuk eladásával sikerült összegyűjteniük.
A pénzt a megbeszélt feltételek szerint hat ember vitte el egy erdő szélére, ahol a gyermekek fogva tartják. A helyszínen a túszejtők azt követelték, hogy egy ember menjen velük a táborukba, hogy megszámolhassák a pénzt és elengedhessék a gyermekeket.
Később azonban felhívták az iskolaigazgatóját és azt mondták neki, hogy nem a megbeszélt összeget szállították le.
Emiatt pedig a pénzt szállító idős embert is elfogták.
„A szülők most már minden reményt feladtak, azt mondják, hogy nem tudnak több pénzt előteremteni. Most már csak Istenben bíznak” – mondta az iskola igazgatója a BBC-nek.
A Sky News Nigeria szerint a banditák azt állítják, hogy 4,6 millió nairával kevesebbet küldtek nekik a szülők a megbeszélt 30 milliós összegnél. Emiatt azt követelik, hogy pótolják ki az összeget, valamint ezenfelül – büntetésképp – még hat, darabonként körülbelül 500 ezer naira értékű Honda motorkerékpárt is vegyenek nekik.
Az ő híradásuk szerint ráadásul egyszer, korábban már a banditáknak küldtek 25 millió nairát (akkor a banditák még összesen 50 milliót követeltek), de az átadás után a túszejtők azt állították, hogy a pénzt nem ők vették át, hanem egy másik banditacsoport.
Nigéria északi területein több, gyermeke túszul ejtésére specializálódott bűnbanda is működik. A váltságdíj megfizetése után általában elengedik a foglyaikat, de a mostani esetben ez nem így történt.

A minnesotai St. Cloudban a Wells Fargo bank egyik fiókjában túszdráma alakult ki csütörtök délután: a fegyveres bankrabló túszokat ejtett, a hatóságok pedig körbekerítették az épületet. Az esetről több videó is felkerült, amelyeken látszik, ahogy a túszokat egyesével szabadon engedték.
A túszdráma körülbelül 8 órán át tartott. A bankrablással és a túszejtéssel egy embert gyanúsítanak, őt már elfogták, az öt túsznak pedig nem esett bántódása.
