A rendőrség több tucat rendbontót ölt meg csütörtökön Kazahsztán legnagyobb városában, Almatiban – idézte a hatóságokat az Interfax orosz hírügynökség.
Kazahsztánban az ország 1991. évi függetlenné válása óta a legnagyobb tüntetések zajlanak, amit az autógáz árának meredek drágulása váltott ki. A kormány januártól felszabadította az autógáz árát, ami azonnal csaknem a duplájára emelkedett. Az országban az autók döntő része autógázzal üzemel, ennek ára jóval alacsonyabb volt a benzinnél.
Több város repülőtere nem működik Kazahsztánban
Kazahsztánban a tüntetések miatt csütörtökön nem nyitott ki Almati, Aktobe és Aktau repülőtere – jelentette a helyi média.
A Habar-24 televízió beszámolója szerint az ország legnagyobb városa, Almati repülőtere ideiglenesen felfüggesztette működését, és egyelőre zárva tart Aktau és Aktobe légikikötője is.
Arról is beszámoltak a televízióban, hogy az ország több régiójában a vasútvonalakon keletkezett akadályok miatt töröltek 25 járatot.
Almatiban a tüntetők körülvettek két klinikai kórházat, és megakadályozzák a betegek és az egészségügyi személyzet bejutását.
Kaszim-Zsomart Tokajev kazah elnök utasította a biztonsági erőket, hogy hozzanak intézkedéseket a csapatok harckészültségének és moráljának javítása érdekében, a regionális hatóságokat pedig felszólította, hogy támogassák a rendvédelmi erők elesett tagjainak családját – közölte csütörtökön az államfő sajtószolgálata.
Az elnök egyben arra utasította a távközlési minisztériumot, hogy a belügyminisztériummal közösen alakítson ki egy közvetlen vonalat, amelyen keresztül „a polgárok tájékoztatást kaphatnak a bűnbandák akciói miatt eltűnt személyekről és a halálos áldozatokról”.
Katonai repülőgépekkel orosz légideszant csapatokat szállítanak Kazahsztánba a Kollektív Biztonsági Szerződés Szervezete (KBSZSZ) békefenntartó erőinek részeként – közölte csütörtökön a szervezet titkársága.
Heves tűzharcra is sort került a katonaság és felfegyverzett rendbontók között
„Az Oroszországi Föderációból a KBSZSZ kollektív békefenntartó erőihez csatlakoztak az orosz légideszant csapatok egységei. Az orosz légierő gépei jelenleg a békefenntartó kontingens orosz részét dobják át a Kazah Köztársaság területére” – írták a közleményben.
Reggel több páncélozott harci jármű és több tucat katona vonult Almati főterére, ahol már harmadik napja százak tüntetnek a kormány ellen. A helyszínen lövések hallatszottak – jelentette a Reuters szemtanúkra hivatkozva.

A városháza előtti téren heves tűzharc kezdődött a katonaság és felfegyverzett rendbontók között. További csapatok érkeztek a térre, és megkezdték a terület megtisztítását a zavargásokat szítóktól – ezt már a TASZSZ orosz hírügynökség tudósítója írta helyszíni jelentésében.
A cikk szerint mintegy 300, zöld egyenruhát viselő és maszkot viselő katona elkezdte bekeríteni a teret, és a civileket a kordon mögé szorították. Később lövöldözés kezdődött ezen a területen belül.
Éjszaka közigazgatási épületeket és az almati rendőrkapitányságot támadták meg. Többtucatnyi támadót likvidáltak, személyazonosságuk megállapítása folyamatban van – közölte csütörtökön Szaltanat Azirbek, a városi rendőrség szóvivője a Khabar-24 televízióban.
Az országban az internet nagyrészt leállt. A belügyminisztérium közlése szerint az összecsapásokban a biztonsági erők legalább nyolc tagja életét vesztette, és 317-en megsebesültek.
A városban sok bevásárlóközpontot és üzletet kifosztottak, köztük egy fegyverkereskedést is. Sok bankautomatát feltörtek.

A kazahsztáni tüntetések január 2-án kezdődtek az ország délnyugati részén fekvő Mangisztau régióbeli Zsanaozenben és Aktauban, ahol a lakosok a cseppfolyósított gáz árának emelkedése ellen tiltakoztak. Két nappal később zavargások törtek ki Almatiban és az ország más városaiban, ahol a tüntetők összecsaptak a rendőrökkel. Halálos áldozatok is voltak.
Az állami televízió csütörtökön arról számolt be, hogy a Kazahsztáni Nemzeti Bank úgy döntött, felfüggeszti az összes pénzintézet működését.
Kaszim-Zsomart Tokajev kazah elnök szerdán kéthetes szükségállapotot rendelt el az egész országban, és menesztette a kormányt. A helyi biztonsági tanács egyik ülésén a pogromokban részt vevőket terroristáknak nevezte, és közölte, hogy kérte az Oroszország vezette, több volt szovjetköztársaságot tömörítő katonai szövetség, a Kollektív Biztonsági Szerződés Szervezete államfőinek segítségét az országát fenyegető „terrorveszély” ellen. A szervezet kollektív biztonsági tanácsa úgy döntött, hogy békefenntartókat küld Kazahsztánba a stabilizáció érdekében.
A jegybankon kívül Kazahsztánban csütörtökre felfüggesztették az összes pénzügyi intézmény működését és nem nyitnak ki a tőzsdék sem – jelentette be hajnalban Olzsasz Ramazanov, a kazah jegybank szóvivője.
Azt mondta, hogy „a pénzügyi piacszabályozó ügynökség és a kazah nemzeti bank, tekintettel a bűnüldöző szervek terrorizmusellenes műveleteire, az internetkapcsolat átmeneti fennakadásaira, továbbá a pénzügyi szervezetek alkalmazottainak és a pénzügyi szolgáltatásokat igénybe vevők egészségére és életére, a pénzügyi intézmények működését ideiglenesen beszüntette”.
Az illetékes ezt később azzal egészítette ki, hogy a döntés egyelőre csak csütörtökre vonatkozik.
A kazahsztáni tiltakozások Zsanaozenben kezdődtek vasárnap, miután az országban eltörölték a cseppfolyósított földgáz árplafonját, és emiatt jelentősen megemelkedett a benzin alternatívájaként használt autógáz (LPG) ára. A zavargások átterjedtek az ország több városára, köztük Almatira és vidéki településekre is. Kazahsztánban az autók egy jelentős része LPG-vel működik.

A kötelező oltás és a korlátozások ellen tüntettek több ezren vasárnap délután Prágában.
A tüntetést szervező Chcípl pes (Megdöglött a kutya) elnevezésű kezdeményezés szerint a kötelező oltás bevezetése és a pandémia elleni korlátozások indokolatlanok, jogtalanok és sértik a cseh alkotmányt, a polgári szabadságjogokat.
Míg a rendőrség a tüntetők számát 5 ezerre becsülte, addig Jakub Olbert, a Chcípl pes elnöke 8-10 ezerre tette.
A Vencel téri tüntetésen elhangzott felszólalások élesen bírálták a kormányt az oltás kötelezővé tételét érintő terveiért és felrótták neki, hogy intézkedéseivel súlyos gondokat okoz a kisvállalkozóknak és a kereskedőknek.
A tüntetés résztvevőinek többsége nem viselt maszkot és nem tartotta be a kötelező távolságot sem. A rendőrség ismételten felhívta az emberek figyelmét, hogy viselkedésükkel. megsértik a hatályos óvintézkedéseket, de a felhívásokra mindig csak füttykoncert volt a válasz. „Mindezek ellenére a rendőrség úgy ítélte meg a helyzetet, hogy nincs ok a beavatkozásra” – mondta Jan Danek rendőrségi szóvivő újságíróknak.
A Vencel téri tüntetés befejezése után a résztvevők többsége a cseh kormány, majd az elnöki hivatal épülete elé vonult, ahol kormány- és államfőellenes jelszavakat skandáltak.
Az Andrej Babis vezette ügyvezető cseh kormány a héten jelentette be, hogy március elsejével kezdődően a 60 éven felettiek és bizonyos szakmák dolgozói számára kötelezővé teszi a koronavírus elleni oltást. A formálódó új kormánykoalíció képviselői viszont jelezték, hogy a korhatárhoz kötött kötelező oltást eltörlik.
A 10,7 milliós Csehországban eddig 6,5 millió ember vette fel az oltás mindkét adagját, 1,55 millió pedig a harmadik adagot is megkapta. A járvány mutatói az utóbbi napokban újra folyamatosan javulnak. A kórházban kezeltek száma 5700-ra csökkent, ami kétezerrel kevesebb, mint a hét elején.

Az állami televízió közlése szerint tizenegy tüntetőt előállítottak, köztük három sérült is volt.
A mianmari árnyékkormány legalább öt halálos áldozatról számolt be. Hangsúlyozta, hogy a junta szándékosan követ el véletlenszerű támadásokat találomra megölve, illetve megcsonkítva embereket.
„A junta célja egyértelmű: a lehető legnagyobb félelmet és pánikot akarja kelteni, és a legsúlyosabb fájdalmat, traumát és szenvedést akarja okozni, tekintet nélkül az áldozatokra. Azt üzeni, hogy bárkit bármikor meg lehet ölni, őrizetbe venni, megverni vagy megsebesíteni pusztán azért, mert rosszkor volt rossz helyen” – mondta az ellenzéki tömörülés szóvivője.
Mianmarban a hadsereg február elsején, a parlament megalakulása előtt pár órával vette át a hatalmat, letartóztatta az ország de facto vezetőjét, a Nobel-békedíjas Aung Szan Szú Kjít és az általa vezetett kormányzó Nemzeti Liga a Demokráciáért (NLD) párt számos politikusát. A hadsereg azzal indokolta a puccsot, hogy a kormány nem vette figyelembe a novemberi választással kapcsolatos panaszaikat. A választást toronymagasan az NLD nyerte.
A puccs elleni tiltakozásoknak a Politikai Foglyokat Támogató Szövetség (AAPP) jogvédő szervezet szerint már csaknem 1300 halálos áldozatuk van, és több mint tízezren kerültek börtönbe.

A hágai rendőrség szerint egy kurd csoport negyven-ötven aktivistájáról van szó, akik előre bejelentett demonstrációt tartottak a hágai önkormányzatnál. Az OPCW területére azonban illegálisan léptek be, ezért őrizetbe vették őket.
A Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt (PKK) csütörtökön közleményt adott ki, amelyben azt állította, hogy Törökország ismételten vegyi fegyvereket vetett be észak-iraki kurd célpontok ellen, és felkérte OPCW-t a vélelmezett helyzet kivizsgálására.
Ankara cáfolta, hogy vegyi fegyvereket használna a PKK-val fennálló konfliktusában. A PKK-t egyébként többek között az Egyesült Államok, Törökország és 2002 májusa óta az Európai Unió is terrorszervezetnek tekinti.
Törökország az elmúlt években számos alkalommal indított határon átnyúló támadást a PKK észak-iraki bázisai ellen. A szervezet 1984 óta kisebb-nagyobb megszakításokkal háborúban áll Törökországgal. A konfliktusban eddig több tízezren veszették életüket.

Ezrek tüntettek Prágában vasárnap a koronavírus-járvány megfékezésére hozott korlátozások ellen. Csehországban a járvány megfékezésére csütörtök éjféltől 30 napos szükségállapotot hirdetett ki a kormány. Az intézkedések keretében betiltották a karácsonyi vásárokat, a vendéglőknek, a bároknak és a kluboknak pedig este tíztől reggel ötig zárva kell tartaniuk.
A kulturális és sportrendezvényeket ezentúl legfeljebb ezer személy tekintheti meg, másféle rendezvényeken, így társasági összejöveteleken és bálokon a részt vevők maximális számát száz főben korlátozták.

Péntek este Rotterdamban a járványügyi korlátozások elleni erőszakos tüntetésen hét ember megsebesült rendőrségi lövésektől, két lázadó kórházba is került. Vizsgálat folyik annak megállapítására, hogy a rendőrök által leadott lövések találták-e el őket. A sérült randalírozók állapota egyelőre nem nyilvános.
A VoaNews szerint a hatóságok 51 embert vettek őrizetbe, felük kiskorú volt. Hivatalos információk szerint az egyik rendőr lábsérüléssel került kórházba, többen pedig könnyű sérüléseket szereztek.
A biztonsági kamerák videófelvételeit is átnézik, így további letartóztatásokra kell számítani. A helyszínről készült fényképeken látszik, hogy legalább egy rendőrautót felgyújtottak, egy másik szélvédőjén pedig egy kerékpár csapódott be. A rohamrendőrség vízágyú segítségével állította helyre a rendet az utcákon.
A holland kikötőváros polgármestere, Ahmed Abaotaleb „erőszakorgiának” nevezte a történteket.
A rendőrség beismerte, hogy többször is eldördültek a figyelmeztető lövések. Egy ponton a helyzet annyira veszélyessé vált, hogy a rendőrök kénytelenek voltak lőni, mondta az egyik illetékes. Patricia Wessels rendőrségi szóvivő még péntek este azt mondta: „figyelmeztető lövéseket adtunk le, és voltak célzott lövések is, mert a helyzet életveszélyes volt.”
A távirati iroda szerint több százan gyűltek össze, hogy tiltakozzanak a kormány azon terve ellen, amely szerint a fedett szórakozóhelyekre csak azok léphetnek be, akiknek van védettségi igazolványuk. A demonstráció nagyon erőszakossá vált. Emiatt a rendőség azonnal vészintézkedéseket vezetett be a városban, felszólította a lakosokat, hogy hagyják el az utcákat, a tüntetők ellen vízágyúkat és lovas rendőröket vetett be. Az ország más részeiről is vezényeltek Rotterdamba rendőröket. Az összecsapásokban rendőrök is megsebesültek.

A súlyos incidensek hatására Ahmed Aboutaleb rotterdami polgármester szigorúan elítélte az erőszakos tüntetőket, és rendeletet adott ki arról, hogy tilos civileknek tartózkodni a tüntetés helyszínén, a központi és egy másik pályaudvaron.
