A Nemzeti Rendőrség által közzétett jelentés szerint lebuktattak egy bűnbandát, amely jelentős feláron vásárolt orvosi berendezéseket a Covid-járvány idején, ezáltal 32 millió hrivnyát sikkasztottak.
Egy orosz állampolgár által irányított vállalkozás és több egészségügyi intézmény megszervezték a felszerelések emelt áron történő beszerzését a Covid-világjárványhoz kapcsolódó egyszerűsített beszerzési rendszert alkalmazva. A szerződések értelmében a cégnek 49 külföldi gyártmányú ultrahang-diagnosztikai felszerelést kellett volna beszereznie állami költségekből. A felszerelésekért kiadott teljes összeg 87 millió hrivnya.
A nyomozás során kiderült, hogy egy berendezést papíron a piaci értékénél 600-700 ezer hrivnyával drágábban szereztek be. Ezenkívül az is kiderült, hogy hiányoznak a képnagyításhoz szükséges eszközök, valamint akkumulátorok. A bűncselekmény 32 millió hrivnyás kárt okozott az államnak.
A hatóságok Kijev, Harkiv és Poltava megyében is végeztek házkutatást, és olyan dokumentumokat foglaltak le, amelyek a bűncselekmény elkövetésére utalhatnak. A magánvállalkozás vezetőjének lakóhelyén orosz útleveleket és állami kitüntetéseket is lefoglaltak.
Az ügyben továbbra is folyik a nyomozás, a vizsgálatok tartanak.

Egy a Moszkva északnyugati részén zajló veszekedés a Szputnyik V vakcina kifejlesztésében részt vevő egyik kutató meggyilkolásával végződött .

„Az elhunytról kiderült, hogy a Szputnyik V vakcina egyik alkotója, az 1974-es születésű Andrej Botikov”.
Julija Ivanova, az orosz főváros Nyomozó Bizottság vezetőjének asszisztense szerint a nyomozás adataira hivatkozva előző nap egy Rogova utcai lakásban a 29 éves fiatalember összeveszett a tulajdonossal, majd egy övvel megfojtotta. Az elhunyt személyazonosságát akkor még nem pontosították.
A kihallgatás során az őrizetes bűnösnek vallotta magát, és vádat emeltek ellene. A férfi ellen már korábban is eljárás indult súlyos bűncselekmény miatt – közölte egy forrás a RIA Novosztyval.
A hatóságok ragaszkodnak ahhoz, hogy a feltételezett gyilkost előzetes letartóztatásban tartsák, és a büntető törvénykönyv 105. cikkének első része „Gyilkosság” alapján akár 15 év börtönbüntetésre is számíthat.
Később derült ki, hogy az áldozat az orosz COVID-vakcina egyik vezető kutatója.
A Gamaleja Epidemiológiai és Mikrobiológiai Kutatóközpont pontosította a hírügynökségnek, hogy Botikov vezető kutatóként dolgozott, társfejlesztője volt a Szputnyik V vakcina szabadalmának, és az elnök kitüntette a gyógyszer kifejlesztéséért.
A Szputnyik V vakcinát a COVID-terror alatt 71 országban engedélyezték, míg a Szputnyik Light alapú vakcinát több mint 30 államban.
Halála mindössze két héttel azután következett be, hogy Vlagyimir Makarov orosz vezérőrnagy öngyilkos lett, miután felmentették tisztségéből.
Egyre furcsább ez a gyilkossági sorozat, mely során befolyásos orosz emberek halnak meg egymás után. A Lukoil alelnöke például nemrég „kiesett az ablakon”. Szentpéterváron, a Zamsina utcai sokemeletes épület ablakai alatt pedig nemrég holtan találták az orosz védelmi minisztérium nyugati körzet pénzügyi támogatási osztályának vezetőjét, Marina Jankinát.

Az afrikai ország történetében immár tizenkettedik ebolajárvány, amely a Kongói Demokratikus Köztársaság keleti részén február elején tört ki, véget ért – közölte hétfőn a kongói egészségügyi minisztérium.
A tárca vezetője, Jean-Jacques Mbungani leszögezte: a járványt a Kongóban is pusztító koronavírus-pandémia és az ország keleti részén uralkodó rossz biztonsági helyzet ellenére sikerült gyorsan, alig néhány hónap alatt megfékezni.
A járvány Észak-Kivu tartományban ütötte fel a fejét, hivatalos adatok szerint 12 fertőzöttje és hat halálos áldozata volt. Az újabb hullámot az Orvosok Határok Nélkül (MSF) civil szervezet közlése szerint a Merck gyógyszercég által gyártott ebola elleni vakcinával fékezték meg.
Az oltóanyagot több mint 1600, a fertőzöttekkel, valamint a kontaktszemélyekkel kapcsolatba került embernek adták be. Az egészségügyi tárca novemberben jelentette be a tizenegyedik hullám végét.
Az ország történetének második legsúlyosabb, 2018-tól 2020-ig tartó, több mint 2200 halálos áldozattal járó ebolajárványát szintén Észak-Kivuból jelentették, a bejelentés szerint a most véget ért hullám vírusának génállománya ezzel a járvánnyal mutatja a legnagyobb hasonlóságot.
A betegséget 1976-ban, a Kongói Demokratikus Köztársaság keleti felében található Ebola folyó melletti településeken észlelték először. A vírus természetes hordozói egyelőre nem ismertek, a legvalószínűbb, hogy a denevérekről terjedt át emberekre a kórokozó.
A betegség fertőzött ember vagy állat testnedvével történő közvetlen érintkezés által terjed. A betegség súlyos vérzéssel jár, a halálozási arány egyes esetekben akár 90 százalékos is lehet.

A nemzetközi bűnüldözési szervezet beszámolója szerint két bűnözőbandát lepleztek le, melyek hamisított kínai vakcinákat árusítottak Kínában, illetve Dél-Afrikában. Kínában egy gyárban állítottak elő nem engedélyezett koronavírus-vakcinát, melyből a rendőrök 3000-et le is foglaltak a helyszínen, és 80 embert tartóztattak le.
Dél-Afrikában három kínait és egy zambiai állampolgár került előzetesbe, akik 2400 koronavírus elleni vakcinát árusítottak.
„Ennek a két bűnbandának a leleplezése csak a jéghegy csúcsa” – jelentette ki Jürgen Stock, az Interpol főtitkára, hozzátéve, hogy a hamis vakcinák árusítása jó üzlet lehet. Egy Kong nevű kínai bűnöző 18 millió jüanos (2,78 millió dollár) profitra tett szert úgy, hogy megszerezte az eredeti vakcinák csomagolási technológiáját. Aztán a szabályosan csomagolt fecskendőket sós vízzel vagy csapvízzel töltötte meg vakcina helyett.
A kínai rendőrség hangsúlyozta, hogy a hamisított vakcina emiatt nem veszélyes az egészségre. A kínai gyár által előállított hamisított vakcinákat ugyanakkor jelentős részben külföldre csempészték, de egyelőre nem lehet tudni, hogy pontosan hova.
Nemrég Mexikóban hat embert elfogott a rendőrség amint hamisított vakcinát próbáltak meg eladni Monterrey városában. Egy külvárosi klinikán lehetett megkapni a „védőoltást” 2000 dollárért – írja a BBC.

Háborús bűncselekmény a koronavírus elleni Szputnyik V vakcinával történő oltás a megszállt területeken, az orosz oltóanyag ugyanis nincs engedélyezve Ukrajnában – jelentette ki Olekszij Reznyikov, az ideiglenesen megszállt területek visszaintegrálásáért felelős miniszterelnök-helyettes csütörtökön, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
Reznyikov egy kijevi konferencia szünetében újságíróknak nyilatkozva elmondta: „meggyőződésem, hogy a nem engedélyezett vakcina használata Ukrajna területén, az ukrán kormány engedélye nélkül, hivatalos bejegyzés nélkül, a valamiféle vakcina embereken történő kipróbálása nem más, mint háborús bűncselekmény.” Hozzátette: az ukrán fél megnyitott minden átkelőhelyet (Donbászon), hogy az emberek át tudjanak jönni az ütközővonalon, és orvosi segítséget kaphassanak, de a megszállók akadályozzák az átkelést, amivel „orvosi népirtást” hajtanak végre.

Az Amerikai Egyesült Államokban leesett jelentős mennyiségű hó miatt hatalmas dugók alakultak ki, melyekben elakadt a koronavírus elleni oltást végző egészségügyi csoport járműve is. Nyomozásba kezdett az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) a „Covid-19 elleni Pfizer-vakcinának álcázott mérgező vagy erős hatású gyógyszerkészítmények Ukrajnába szállítása, tárolása és alkalmazása” ügyében – adta hírül pénteken a Levij Bereg hírportál az SZBU sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A titkosszolgálati jelentés szerint „jelenleg ismeretes, hogy személyek csoportja egymással összejátszva, a hatályos szabályok megsértésével megvásárolta, szállította, tárolta és árulta a Covid-19 elleni Pfizer-vakcinának álcázott mérgező vagy erős hatású gyógyszerkészítményeket.” A nyomozás annak megállapítására irányul, hogy milyen körülmények között alkalmazták a készítményeket egyes állampolgárok esetében mind egészségügyi intézményekben, mind azokon kívül.
Mint a hírportál emlékeztetett, Ukrajnában, a legtöbb országtól eltérően, hivatalosan még nem kezdődött el a koronavírus elleni vakcináció. Remények szerint Ukrajna az év első negyedében kap Covid-19 elleni oltóanyagot a világ legnyomorultabb országainak megsegítésére indított COVAX-kezdeményezés keretében – jelezte a kiadvány.
