A hamburgi városháza előtt demonstrált vasárnap a Nobel-békedíjas Nemzetközi Orvosok a Nukleáris Háború Megelőzéséért (IPPNW) nevű szervezet az atomfegyverek használata ellen. A tüntetők többek közt „Atomfegyverek betiltva” feliratú molinókat mutattak fel a nukleáris fegyverek tilalmáról szóló ENSZ-szerződésre hivatkozva, mert attól tartanak, hogy az ukrajnai háború növeli az atomfegyverek bevetésének kockázatát.
„Különösen a legnagyobb nukleáris kapacitással rendelkező országoknak, Oroszországnak és az ukrajnai háborúban közvetve részt vevő Egyesült Államoknak kell nyilatkozniuk arról, hogy ebben a háborúban nem használnak, vagy legalábbis nem használnak először atomfegyvert” – Angelika Claussen, az IPPNW társelnöke.
Az Euronews helyszíni tudósítója, Kristina Jovanovski arra hívta fel a figyelmet, hogy a tiltakozást a nukleáris fegyverek használatát tiltó ENSZ-egyezmény kétéves évfordulóján rendezték. Többen úgy gondolják, hogy Oroszország nagy valószínűséggel bevetne taktikai vagy úgynevezett kis nukleáris fegyvereket. Szakértők azonban a demonstrációt megelőző konferencián azt mondták, hogy kis nukleáris fegyver nem létezik.
A tiltakozókat nem csak a fegyverek aggasztják, beszéltek a nukleáris energia által okozott fenyegetettségről és az erőművek baleseteiből vagy meghibásodásából eredő lehetséges károkról is. Nemzetközi szakértők védőövezet kialakítását szorgalmazzák Ukrajna legnagyobb működő erőműve, a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőmű körül.
„A védőövezet kialakításával minimálisra lenne csökkenthető a kockázat, hogy az erőművet rakéta-, bomba-, vagy más lövedék találja el. A kockázatot teljesen persze ez sem szünteti meg, mert lehet leolvadás például emberi hiba miatt is” – Linda Gunter, a Beyond Nuclear International szerkesztő-kurátora.
Az atomfegyverek kockázataira kedden egy másik szakértői csoport hívja fel a figyelmet. A Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists frissíteni fogja világvége óráját, jelezve, hogy szerintük az emberiség milyen közel áll az önmegsemmisítéshez.

A német vámhatóság rekordmennyiségű, 182 kilogramm metamfetamint, vagyis kristálymetet foglalt le Hamburg kikötőjében.
„Ilyen nagy mennyiségű kristálymet kivonása a feketepiacról újabb jelentős csapás a kábítószerbűnözéssel foglalkozó nemzetközi bűnszervezetek ellen” – jelentette ki kedden René Matschke, a hamburgi vámhatóság nyomozati irodájának vezetője.
A Mexikóból konténerben érkezett kábítószert még májusban foglalták le, a rekordmértékű drogfogást csak most jelentették be, hogy ne veszélyeztessék a nyomozást.
A tájékoztatás szerint a kábítószert gondosan elrejtették víztisztító berendezésekben, de a röntgenes átvilágításuk gyanús dolgokat fedett fel.
A német vámhatóság nehéz gépi felszereléssel volt kénytelen a 194 csomagba pakolt drogot eltávolítani a víztisztító berendezések szűrőcsöveiből. Későbbi laborvizsgálatok megállapították, hogy nagy tisztaságú metamfetaminról van szó, amelynek feketepiaci értéke 14 millió euró.
A szállítólevél szerint a konténert egy másik európai országba címezték egy helyi vállalkozásnak. Az ügyben a nyomozás még nem zárult le.

Iszlamista terrortámadást akadályoztak meg Hamburgban – jelentették be pénteken a németországi nagyvárosban.
A lőfegyverek használatáról és a háborús fegyverek ellenőrzéséről szóló jogszabályok megsértésének gyanúja miatt még augusztusban elfogott német-marokkói kettős állampolgár ügyében folytatott nyomozás során november 19-én, egy házkutatás során lefoglaltak lőpor előállítására és robbanószerkezet készítésére alkalmas anyagokat és tárgyakat.
A személyes adatok védelméről szóló jogszabályok alapján csak Abdurrahman C. néven azonosított gyanúsított 20 éves, Hamburgban született, édesapja marokkói, édesanyja német.
Apja a kétezres évek elején – a több szálon Hamburghoz kapcsolódó, 2001. szeptember 11-i amerikai terrortámadások körüli időkben – a helyi radikális iszlamista csoportosulásokhoz tartozott, és egy olyan, időközben bezáratott mecsetbe járt, amelyben az amerikai merényletek elkövetői is megfordultak. A család 2016-ban kivándorolt Marokkóba. A gyanúsított 2020-ban tért vissza tanulni.
A fiatalembert augusztus 26-án vették őrizetbe, miután a tartományi bűnügyi hivatal (LKA) állambiztonsági ügyekre szakosodott nyomozói tudomást szereztek arról, hogy megpróbált éles lőfegyvert és kézigránátot vásárolni az internet bűnözők körében közkedvelt részén, a darkneten.
Abdurrahman C.-t előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték, az ügyében tartott első házkutatásokon iszlamista terrorista csoportok propagandavideóit, valamint fegyverek előállítására vonatkozó dokumentumokat foglaltak le. Kiderítették azt is, hogy pokolgépkészítési útmutatót tanulmányozott az interneten.
Az eset ismertetése előtt utolsó nagyobb akciót szerdán hajtották végre, több tartományban, 17 ingatlanban tartottak egyszerre házkutatást. A lefoglalt bizonyítékok, köztük okostelefonok, számítógépek és digitális adathordozók értékelése folyamatban van – közölték.
A szövetségi alkotmányvédelmi hivatal (BfV) legutóbbi, júniusban közölt adatai szerint a szélsőséges iszlamista irányzatok németországi követőinek száma 28 715-re tehető. A szövetségi bűnügyi hivatal (BKA) 630 embert tart nyilván közveszélyes, terrorcselekmény elkövetésére hajlandó iszlamistaként.
Németországban 5,3-5,6 millió muszlim vallású ember él, ez a 83,1 milliós lakosság 6,4-6,7 százaléka. Legnagyobb csoportjuk – mintegy 45 százalékuk – szunnita török.

A férfi belehalt sebesüléseibe. Személyazonossága ismeretlen. A nyomozásba bekapcsolódott az LKA államvédelmi osztálya. Vizsgálják, hogy volt-e tettének vallási indítéka.

Egy katonai ruhát viselő férfi támadt gyalogsági ásóval egy zsidó diákra vasárnap délután Hamburgban – jelentette a Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) című német lap a hírportálján.
Az antiszemita támadás áldozatát súlyos fejsérüléssel kórházba szállították. A támadót a zsinagóga közösségének biztonsági szolgálata elfogta.
A hamburgi rendőrség vasárnap esti közleménye szerint őrizetbe vettek egy 29 éves, a német hadsereg (Bundeswehr) egyenruhájához hasonlító öltözéket viselő német férfit, aki egy összecsukható ásóval rátámadt egy 26 éves férfira a helyi zsidó közösség temploma előtt. A támadó német állampolgár és kazahsztáni származású. Kihallgatása nehezen haladt, mert igen zavartan viselkedett. Zsebében találtak egy cetlit, amelyen egy horogkereszt látható.
Az incidens a legutóbbi súlyos németországi antiszemita bűncselekmény, a hallei zsinagóga elleni tavaly októberi fegyveres támadás évfordulójához közeli időpontban történt. Hozzátették, hogy a támadó öltözéke is a hallei esetet idézi. Halléban 2019. október 9-én történt zsidóellenes bűncselekmény. A támadó a hatóságok megállapítása szerint szélsőjobboldali, antiszemita indíttatásból próbált bejutni a zsinagógába, amelyben 70-80 hívő tartózkodott. A sikertelen támadás után az utcán hátulról lelőtt egy fiatal nőt, majd egy közeli török büféhez hajtott, amelyben lelőtt egy férfit, és elmenekült.
