Hat török katona életét vesztette Észak-Irakban a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt (PKK) fegyvereseinek támadása következtében – jelentette be a török védelmi minisztérium szombaton.
A támadás péntek este történt. A török védelmi minisztérium azt közölte, hogy az összecsapásban hét kurd fegyverest megöltek.
Törökország a PKK-t terrorszervezetnek tekinti. A török hadsereg időszakonként támadást hajt végre a kurd fegyveresek ellen Irak északi részén és Szíriában, és jelentős fegyveres erőt állomásoztat a térségben.
A török védelmi minisztérium közlése szerint az év eleje óta a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt 2120 fegyveresét ölték meg, főként Észak-Irakban és Szíriában.

Két kereskedelmi hajót ért támadás hétfőn a Vörös-tengeren, a jemeni húszi lázadók szóvivője szerint a Swan Atlantic tankert és a Clara nevű konténerszállítót vették célba.
Jahja Szarí a felkelők ellenőrizte al-Maszíra televíziónak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy „katonai műveletet” hajtottak végre, miután a hajók nem reagáltak figyelmeztetéseikre. Hozzátette, hogy a felkelők folytatni fogják az Izrael felé tartó hajók elleni támadásokat.
A Swan Atlantic norvég tulajdonosa, az Inventor Chemical Tankers társaság közlése szerint a tankert „egy azonosítatlan objektum” találta el, de a legénység tagjai közül senki sem sérült meg és a hajó is működőképes maradt. Az amerikai haditengerészet egyik hajója sietett a tanker segítségére. A másik hajó panamai zászló alatt közlekedik.
Espen Barth Eide norvég külügyminiszter aggodalmát fejezte ki a térségben kialakult helyzet miatt, elfogadhatatlannak nevezve a polgári hajózás elleni önkényes támadásokat.
Az utóbbi időben több hasonló támadást követtek el az Irán támogatását élvező húszi lázadók. A gázai övezeti háború miatt a felkelők azzal fenyegetnek, hogy akadályozni fogják az Izraelbe tartó hajóforgalmat a Vörös-tengeren.
Több tengeri szállítmányozási vállalat, köztük a Hapag-Lloyd és a Maersk is úgy döntött, hogy egyelőre elkerülik a Vörös-tengert a Földközi-tengerrel összekötő Szuezi-csatornát, amely a legrövidebb tengeri útvonal Ázsiából Európába. A világ áruforgalmának nagyjából tíz százaléka a Vörös-tengeren halad keresztül.

Feltehetően támadási céllal indított drónt lőtt le a brit királyi haditengerészet egyik rombolója a Vörös-tengeren.
Grant Shapps brit védelmi miniszter szombati tájékoztatása szerint a Diamond nevű hadihajó egy Sea Viper típusú rakétát vetett be a drón ellen, amelyet sikeresen megsemmisített.
Shapps közleménye szerint a drón a Vörös-tengeren közlekedő kereskedelmi hajókat vette célba. A miniszter ugyanakkor nem részletezte, hogy a támadó légijármű pontosan melyik hajót fenyegette, és azt sem, hogy a támadási kísérletért ki a felelős.
Az utóbbi időben azonban a jemeni húszi lázadók többször is támadást intéztek a Vörös-tengeren közlekedő kereskedelmi hajók ellen, amelyek közül nem egyet el is találtak.
A dániai központú Maersk globális hajózási társaság pénteken bejelentette, hogy hajói meghatározatlan ideig nem használják a vörös-tengeri tranzitútvonalat.

Grant Shapps hangsúlyozta: Nagy-Britannia elkötelezte magát e támadások elhárítása és a zökkenőmentes világkereskedelmi forgalom védelme mellett.
A brit védelmi tárca szombati ismertetése szerint az 1991-ben megvívott első Öböl-háború óta most először lőtt le brit hadihajó éles hadművelet keretében támadó repülőeszközt.
Akkor a brit haditengerészet Gloucester nevű rombolója semmisített meg egy iraki rakétát, amely egy amerikai hadihajó felé tartott.

A német tartományi rendőrség egy migránsokból álló csapatot keres, akik a gyanú szerint megvertek egy középkorú, Mikulásnak öltözött férfit, aki éppen egy hesseni rendezvényre tartott. Az 54 éves áldozatnak december 6-án Kassel városában kellett volna fellépnie, amikor a fiatalokból álló banda megtámadta.
Az áldozat, Rainer B. elmondása szerint a banda több 15 év körüli, migráns hátterű tinédzserből állt. A rendőröknek elmondta, hogy inzultálták, „rohadéknak” és „kövér embernek” nevezték, és felszólították, hogy vegye le a mikulásjelmezét. Azt ordították, hogy muszlimok, és hogy Németország az ő országuk – számolt be róla a Hessische Allgemeine című lap.
Az áldozat megjegyezte, hogy többen is szemtanúi voltak a támadásnak, és ahelyett, hogy közbeléptek volna, inkább kinevetették és megtapsolták a migráns támadókat.
Miután feljelentést tett a hatóságoknál, az ügy az állambiztonsági hivatalhoz került.

Rakétatalálat érte keddre virradóra a Vörös-tenger és az Ádeni-öböl között a jemeni partoknál haladó norvég Strinda nevű tartályhajót – jelentette X-üzenetben az amerikai hadsereg Központi Parancsnoksága (CENTCOM).
A CENTCOM szerint a manőverező robotrepülőgépet a jemeni húszi lázadók által ellenőrzött területről indították. A találat tüzet és károkat okozott a tartályhajón.
A brit tengeri kereskedelmi hivatal (UKMTO) jelentése szerint az incidensre a jemeni part menti el-Mukha várostól 15 tengeri mérföldre nyugatra került sor.
A norvég zászló alatt közlekedő Strinda vészjelzést adott le, az USS Mason amerikai hadihajó pedig a segítségére sietett.
A norvég Mowinckel Chemical Tankers vállalat tulajdonában lévő 144 méteres hajó a támadás idején a Vörös-tengert a Földközi-tengerrel összekötő Szuezi-csatorna felé tartott.
Az Izrael és a Hamász közötti háború október 7-i kezdete óta a jemeni húszi lázadók többször intéztek támadást drónokkal és rakétákkal Izrael ellen, és támadtak meg hajókat a Vörös-tengeren. November 19-én a húszi harcosok elfoglalták a Galaxy Leader teherhajót, és foglyul ejtették annak legénységét.
Szombaton az Irán által támogatott lázadók további támadásokkal fenyegették meg a Vörös-tengeren Izraelbe tartó hajókat, ha nem érkezik humanitárius segély a Gázai övezetbe.
A vegyianyag-szállító norvég tartályhajó már biztonságos kikötő felé tart – közölte a Mowinckel Chemical Tankers kedden a Reuters hírügynökséggel. Geir Belsnes, a Mowinckel elnöke elmondta, hogy a Strinda 22 fős indiai legénysége sértetlen.
A Kpler tengerhajózási nyomkövető rendszer adatai alapján a Strinda növényi olajat és bioüzemanyagokat szállított Malajziából az olaszországi Velencébe. Egyelőre nem világos, hogy a hajónak van-e valamilyen kapcsolata Izraellel.

Az amerikai haditengerészet X-en tett közzé egy videót, amelyen az USS Carney rakétaindításai láthatóak, a Vörös-tengeren.
A jemeni húszi lázadók ballisztikus rakétáik, illetve drónjaik segítségével zaklatják a Vörös-tengeren áthaladó amerikai és izraeli civil teherszállítókat és hadihajókat is.
Az USS Carney, a térségben állomásozó amerikai flotta egyik Arleigh Burke-osztályú rombolója már többször is kénytelen volt légvédelmi rakétákkal védekezni az őt, vagy az általa kísért hajót célba vevő húszi rakétákkal szemben. Erről most videót is közöltek:
Az SM-2 rakéták az amerikai haditengerészet számára kifejlesztett közepes hatótávolságú felszíni-levegő rakéták (végszükség esetén bevethetők hajók ellen is). Első variánsait az 1960-as években tesztelték, azt követően pedig folyamatos módosításokkal tartották hadrendben.
Bár a Pentagon megosztott a kérdésben, hogy az Egyesült Államoknak szükséges-e válaszcsapást mérnie az iráni rezsim által is támogatott milíciára. Feltehetően az amerikai nagykövetség ellen irányuló rakétatámadás nyomán keletkező robbanások rázták meg péntek hajnalban Bagdad erősen őrzött, zöld zónaként ismert kormányzati negyedét.
A közösségi médiában közzétett helyszíni videók tanúsága szerint a robbanások idején megszólaltak a légoltalmi szirénák, a hangosbemondókon pedig arra szólították fel az embereket, hogy vonuljanak fedezékbe.
Biztonsági források szerint a robbanásokat az amerikai nagykövetség ellen irányuló rakéták okozták, a diplomácia képviselet azonban egyelőre nem reagált a megkeresésekre.
Nem tudni egyelőre azt sem, hogy pontosan hol csapódtak be a rakéták, és keletkeztek-e károk, miként az sem világos, hogy aktiválták-e a nagykövetség légvédelmi rendszerét.
Az iraki és szíriai katonai bázisokon állomásozó amerikai erők október közepe óta több mint 70 támadás érte, amelyek elkövetőjeként az iraki síita fegyveres csoportok egyik ernyőszervezete jelentkezett. A péntek hajnali robbanások miatt azonban mindeddig egyetlen csoport sem jelentkezett, miként a bagdadi diplomáciai képviseletek sem tartoztak eddig az iszlamisták támadásainak célpontjai közé.

Egy amerikai hadihajót és több kereskedelmi hajót ért támadás a Vörös-tengeren vasárnap – közölte vasárnap a Pentagon.
„Tudomásunk van a Carney amerikai romboló és kereskedelmi hajók elleni támadásokról szóló jelentésekről a Vörös-tengeren és közzétesszük az információkat, amint rendelkezésre állnak” – ismertette közleményében az amerikai védelmi tárca.
A brit hadsereg nem sokkal korábban feltételezett dróntámadásokról és robbanásokról számolt be a térségben.
Hajózásbiztonsági források a nap folyamán közölték, hogy egy konténerszállító hajót legkevesebb két drón eltalált a Vörös-tengeren.
A Pentagon nem adott tájékoztatást arról, hogy a támadásokat honnan indították. Ugyanakkor az Irán támogatását élvező jemeni húszi lázadók több támadást is elkövettek már ezeken a vizeken, illetve Izrael ellen, amely a Gázai övezetben visel hadat a radikális iszlamista Hamásszal szemben.
Névtelenséget kérő amerikai tisztségviselők ugyanakkor felfedték, hogy a támadást a húszik kezén lévő jemeni főváros, Szanaa térségéből indították és az nagyjából öt órán át tartott.
Novemberben a jemeni felkelők elfoglalták az M/V Galaxy Leader hajót és legénységét.
A húszik a kereskedelmi hajót és 25 fős legénységét arra hivatkozva foglalták el, hogy Izrael támadást indított a Hamász ellen, amely október 7-én példátlan mértékű vérengzést hajtott végre Izraelben. A Galaxy Leadert egy japán társaság üzemelteti, de brit cég tulajdonában van, amelyet egy izraeli üzletember alapított.
