Egy holland bíróság kedden felmentett a kilenc férfit, akiket azzal vádoltak, hogy terrortámadást készítettek elő 2021-ben Eindhoven városában – írta az NlTimes hírportál a schipholi törvényszék ítéletére hivatkozva. Az illetékes ügyészség korábban hét vádlottal szemben felmentést, és a további két vádlottra négy, illetve három év börtönbüntetést kért.
Az NLTimes tudósítása szerint a kilenc fiatal férfi a koronavírus-járvány idején történt lezárások során egy garázsban edzett együtt, ahol ketten arra buzdították a többieket, hogy terrortámadást terveljenek ki és kövessenek el.
A csoport 19 és 32 év közötti tagjai együtt néztek az Iszlám Állam által finanszírozott propagandafilmeket, valamint bombák és fegyverek készítéséről szóló oktatóvideókat, és terrortámadásokról beszélgettek.
A bíróság kedden úgy döntött, hogy mind a kilenc vádlottat fel kell menteni, mivel nem állt rendelkezésre bizonyíték szándékuk komolyságára. A hatóságok a házkutatás során nem találtak a vádlottaknál sem fegyvereket, sem robbanóanyagokat.
A bíróság szerint nem voltak konkrét támadási terveik, illetve arra időpontjaik sem. A telefonjaikon vagy a személyes helyiségeikben továbbá nem találtak olyan jeleket, amelyek arra utaltak volna, hogy valóban támadást akartak elkövetni.
„A vádlottak hosszú ideig és intenzíven tanulmányozták az Iszlám Állam dzsihadista terrorszervezet propagandáját és retorikáját, de nem vált nyilvánvalóvá, hogy radikalizálódtak volna. Egy szoros baráti társaság nem tekinthető azonnal együttműködő terrorista sejtnek” – áll a törvényszéki ítéletben.
A férfiak mindannyian tagadták az összes vádat, és hangsúlyozták, hogy a terrortámadásokról tett megjegyzéseiket nem gondolták komolyan.

Legkevesebb tizenegy ember öltek meg az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet támadásában Szíria központi részén – közölte vasárnap az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH).
A szíriai polgárháború eseményeit nyomon követő, brit székhelyű szervezet tudomása szerint a dzsihadisták Palmüra romvárosának térségében rátámadtak szarvasgombát gyűjtők egy 75 fős csoportjára és megöltek tíz civilt és a szíriai hadsereg egyik katonáját.
A SANA állami hírügynökség is beszámolt az esetről, de alacsonyabb áldozati számot említett. A SANA szerint a terroristák gépfegyverekből nyitottak tüzet az emberekre négy civilt megölve. Tíz másik ember megsebesült, közülük többen súlyosan.
Az Iszlám Állam 2014 nyarán hatalmas területeket vont ellenőrzése alá Szíriában és a szomszédos Irakban. A terroristák több évnyi vérontást követően a Washington vezette nemzetközi koalíciónak köszönhetően 2019 márciusában katonai vereséget szenvedtek Szíriában is. A szélsőségesek a szíriai sivatagba szorultak vissza, ahonnan kiindulva gerillahadviselést folytatnak, illetve merényleteket követnek el.

A pakisztáni biztonsági erők 12 terroristát megöltek egy rajtaütésben az északnyugati Hajber-Pahtunhva tartományban – számolt be az MTI a hadsereg szerdai közleményére hivatkozva.
Az éjszakai műveletben a pakisztáni tálibok fegyveres csoportjához, a Tehrik-i-Talibán Pakisztánhoz (TTP) tartozó terroristák egyik gépkocsijára csaptak le a katonák, akik hírszerzési adatok alapján léptek akcióba – közölte a hadsereg sajtóosztálya.
A felderítés a múlt héten észlelt terrorista aktivitást a térségben. A katonák csapdát állítottak a szélsőségeseknek egy meneküléshez biztosított gépjárművel, amelyet aztán feltartóztattak és megsemmisítettek.
A biztonsági erők, amelyek tisztogató műveletet végeznek a térségben, fegyvereket, lőszert és külföldi valutát is lefoglaltak az akció során a tájékoztatás szerint.

Robbanószerrel megpakolt autóval egy öngyilkos merénylő nekihajtott vasárnap a helyi önkormányzat központi épületének a szomáliai fővárosban, Mogadishuban – közölte Mohamed Dahir, a helyi rendőrség szóvivője.
Mint mondta, a kapuban végrehajtott robbantást követően fegyveresek hatoltak be az épületbe, ahol egyebek között a mogadishui polgármester és a fővárost övező Benadir régió kormányzójának hivatala található.
Legfrissebb értesülések szerint a válogatás nélkül lövöldöző szélsőségesek legalább nyolc emberrel végeztek: két biztonsági őrt és hat civilt öltek meg. Ezen kívül négyen megsebesültek. Korábban még öt halálos áldozatról lehetett tudni.
A merénylet elkövetőjeként az al-Shabaab terrorszervezet jelentkezett. A polgármestert és más tisztségviselőket kimenekítették az épületből, amelyet a szélsőségesek ennek ellenére helyi idő szerint a kora délutáni órákban még támadás alatt tartottak.
„Biztonsági erőink még mindig a terroristák ellen harcolnak” – mondta Mohamed Yaboh, a polgármester helyettese. A hatóságok szerint mintegy hét szélsőséges bujkálhat az épületben.
A tájékoztatási minisztérium vasárnap este közölte, hogy csaknem hatórás műveletet követően, az épületbe behatolt mind a hat terroristával végeztek.
Az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorszervezettel is kapcsolatban álló al-Shabaab célja, hogy kiűzze az Afrikai Unió békefenntartóit az országból, megdöntse a Nyugat támogatását élvező mogadishui kormány hatalmát, és az iszlám radikális értelmezésen alapuló jogrendet, saríát vezessen be Szomáliában. A 2007 óta zajló harcok hozzájárultak az afrikai országot sújtó súlyos élelmiszerválsághoz is.

Felrobbantotta magát az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) nemzetközi terrorszervezet harcosainak volt vezetője, Abu al-Hasszán al-Hásemi al-Kurasi október közepén Szíriában, miután őt és segítőit helyi harcosok bekerítették Dzsaszem városában – mondták el utólag az összecsapásban részt vevő harcosok.
Az értesülést a Reuters brit hírügynökség közölte csütörtökön.
Szerdán az IÁ is megerősítette al-Kurasi halálhírét. Az amerikai hadsereg szerdán azt adta hírül, hogy al-Kurasi a lázadó a Szabad Szíriai Hadsereg (FSA) által az északnyugati Dara tartományban végrehajtott műveletben halt meg.
A tartományt a szíriai hadsereg ellenőrzése alá vonták, miután 2018-ban orosz közvetítéssel létrejött megbékélési megállapodás értelmében Damaszkusz visszakapta az ellenőrzést Dél-Szíriában.
Kurasira és segítőire egy házban lévő titkos rejtekhelyen bukkantak rá – közölték a források, köztük a Szíriai Szabad Hadsereg harcosai, valamint az összecsapásban elhunyt bajtársak hozzátartozói, továbbá Dzsaszem lakosai is.
„A vezető és egyik társa az övére szerelt szerkezettel felrobbantotta magát, miután harcosainknak sikerült megrohamozniuk a rejtekhelyüket” – mondta Szálem al-Horani dzsaszemi lakos és egykori harcos, aki részt vett annak a három háznak az ostromában, ahol az iszlám sejtet felfedezték.
Az FSA támogatást kapott a Nyugattól és az Öböl-államoktól, amíg 2018-ban meg nem vonták a segítséget tőlük. A szervezet harcosai azonban még a térségben maradtak a megbékélési megállapodások után, amelyek értelmében átadták a nehézfegyvereiket, de megtarthatták a könnyűfegyvereiket.
Az Iszlám Állam új vezetője immáron Abu al-Huszein al-Huszeini al-Kurasi – közölte a csoport szóvivője. Állítása szerint az előd „Isten ellenségeinek elleni harcban” halt meg, de részletekbe nem bocsátkozott.
Az Iszlám Állam a szomszédos Irak polgárháborújának káoszából nőtt ki, és 2014-ben hatalmas iraki és szíriai területeket foglalt el. Az Iszlám Állam korábbi kalifája, Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi még abban az évben az észak-iraki Moszul városának egyik mecsetjéből kikiáltotta az iszlám kalifátust, az összes muzulmán kalifájának nevezve ki magát.
Az Iszlám Állam brutális uralma, amelynek során az iszlám szigorú értelmezése nevében emberek ezreit gyilkolta és végezte ki, az iraki Moszulban ért véget, amikor az iraki és nemzetközi erők 2017-ben legyőzték a szervezetet.

Őrizetbe vették a török hatóságok a hat halálos áldozatot követelő vasárnapi isztambuli robbantás fő elkövetőjét, aki a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt (PKK) terrorszervezethez köthető – közölte hétfő hajnalban Süleyman Soylu török belügyminiszter a detonáció helyszínén újságírókkal.
A belügyminiszter elmondta, hogy az isztambuli rendőrfőkapitányság őrizetbe vette azt a személyt, aki vasárnap délután elhelyezte a pokolgépet a metropolisz forgalmas sétálóutcájában, az Istiklalon.
A politikus szerint az elsődleges vizsgálatok szerint a merénylet parancsát az észak-szíriai Kobaniban adták ki, az elkövető pedig vélhetően az északnyugat-szíriai Afrín térségében jutott át a szíriai–török határon. Az esettel kapcsolatban – a merénylő előtt – másik 21 embert is őrizetbe vettek – tette hozzá. További részletekről nem tájékoztatott.
Soylu emlkeztetett, hogy Isztambulban körülbelül hat éve nem történt terrorcselekmény – ezzel a tárcavezető a 2016 szilveszterekor a Boszporusz-parti Reina klubban végrehajtott mészárlásra utalhatott.
A belügyminiszter azt is közölte, hogy az előző napi merénylet 81 sebesültjéből 50-et már hazaengedtek a kórházból.
Öt áldozat van intenzív osztályon, két ember állapota pedig továbbra is súlyos.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök vasárnap este aljas támadásnak minősítette a történteket, kijelentve, hogy Törökországot és a török népet, ahogy eddig, ezután sem lehet terrorizmussal rabul ejteni.
Törökország 2015 és 2017 között számos véres terrortámadás helyszíne volt. A merényleteket túlnyomó többségében az Iszlám Állam dzsihadista terrorszervezet vagy a Délkelet-Törökországban 1984 óta fegyveres felkelést folytató PKK hajtotta végre. A pokolgépes támadásokban több százan vesztették életüket.

A szomáliai hadsereg az al-Shabaab terrorszervezet 97 harcosával végzett – közölte szerdán a kelet-afrikai ország tájékoztatási minisztériuma.
A szélsőségesek mintegy ötven fegyverese esett el a hadsereg és felfegyverzett civilek közös offenzívájában a terroristák El Búr nevű fellegvára ellen a fővárostól, Mogadishutól mintegy 400 kilométerre északra található Galgudúd tartományban.
További 47 terroristát az ország déli, Alsó-Shabelle régiójában vívott harcokban öltek meg.
Az al-Shabaab megerősítette az összecsapások tényét, és közölte, hogy tíz szomáliai katonával végeztek.
Az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorszervezetnek 2012-ben hűséget fogadó al-Shabaab célja, hogy kiűzze az Afrikai Unió békefenntartóit az országból, megdöntse a Nyugat támogatását élvező mogadishui kormányt, és az iszlám radikális értelmezésen alapuló jogrendet, saríát vezessen be Szomáliában. A dél- és közép-szomáliai területeket ellenőrző dzsihadisták ennek érdekében rendszeresen hajtanak végre támadásokat kormányzati, katonai és civil célpontok ellen Mogadishuban is.
A mogadishui vezetés több hónapja offenzívát indított az al-Shabaab ellen, a hadseregnek a helyi klánok és felfegyverzett civilek segítségével sikerült jelentős területeket visszafoglalnia az iszlamistáktól. Legutóbb november 5-én számoltunk be róla, hogy az al-Shabaab terrorszervezet legalább 130 harcosát ölték meg Szomáliában a kormányerők és az őket támogató helyi milíciák.

Az al-Shabaab terrorszervezet legalább 130 harcosát ölték meg Szomáliában a kormányerők és az őket támogató helyi milíciák – közölte pénteken az ország védelmi minisztériuma.
Abdullahi Mohamed Noor miniszter a szomáliai fővárosban, Mogadishuban azt mondta, hogy a harcok a Hiran régió központi részén fekvő falu, Elhareri és térségének ellenőrzéséért folytak. Az összecsapás során a kormánycsaptok komoly veszteségeket okoztak az iszlamistáknak, és a térség immár a kormány ellenőrzése alatt áll – tette hozzá.
A körzet megszerzéséért folytatott csata része volt annak a hónapok óta tartó offenzívának, amelyet az al-Shabaab iszlamista szervezet ellen indított a szomáliai kormány.
Az iszlamista felkelők nagy területeket tartanak ellenőrzésük alatt az ország középső és déli részén, de az utóbbi hetekben a kormányerők jelentős területeket szereztek vissza tőlük a helyi fegyveres tartományurak és a hozzájuk csatlakozott civil, önkéntes katonák segítségével.
Az al-Shabaab taktikája ezzel szemben az utóbbi időben már inkább célzott terrorcselekmények elkövetésére korlátozódik: október 29-én legalább 120 ember életét oltotta ki az a két, autóba rejtett pokolgép, amelyeket a Mogadishu központjában található egészségügyi minisztérium épülete mellett robbantottak fel.
Az akció az utóbbi öt év legsúlyosabb terrorcselekménye volt Szomáliában.

Elfogtak négy feltételezett szélsőjobboldali terroristát szerdán Németországban egy nagyszabású razzián, amelyen 11 tartományban, egyszerre 61 helyszínen tartottak házkutatást.
A szövetségi legfőbb ügyészség közleménye szerint a műveletben több mint 800 rendőr vett részt, köztük a szövetségi rendőrség GSG9 elnevezésű különleges bevetési alakulatának egy különítménye.
A szövetségi alkotmányvédelmi hivatal (BfV) 2019-ben kezdett nyomozásának részeként végrehajtott akció középpontjában 50 ember állt. Négyet vettek őrizetbe. Hármat az egykori NDK területén fekvő Türingia tartományi Eisenachban, a negyediket a hesseni Rotenburgban.
A nyomozás összesen öt egyedi eljárásra oszlik, és egy szerteágazó neonáci hálózat támogatói ellen irányul. A vádlottak egy részét terrorista szervezet megalakításának kísérletével és terrorszervezetben való tagsággal, másokat bűnszervezetben való tagsággal vádolnak. Egy másik részét azzal vádolják, hogy a hivatalos tiltás ellenére továbbra is neonáci egyesületet működtet.
A hatóságok szerint valamennyi gyanúsított kapcsolatban áll a 2015-ben az Egyesült Államokban alapított, Atomwaffen Division (Atomfegyver Hadosztály – AWD) elnevezésű neonáci terrorszervezet németországi szárnyával – Atomwaffen Division Deutschland (AWDD) –, vagy a szervezethez kötődő egyéb csoportosulásokkal.
A legfőbb ügyészség jellemzése szerint az AWD támogatói nyíltan rasszisták, antiszemiták és nemzetiszocialisták, a szélsőségesen durva erőszak hívei, és céljuk egy „+faji háború+” kirobbantása, amelyből a „+fehér lakosság+” kerül ki győztesen. Ezek az emberek egyes lakossági csoportok, valamint politikusok, köztisztviselők és állami intézmények elleni támadásokkal és gyilkosságokkal „káoszt akarnak teremteni, és végül szélsőjobboldali uralmi formákkal akarják felváltani a demokratikus rendet” – áll a közleményben.
A Der Spiegel című hírmagazin beszámolója szerint a szerdai razzia volt az utóbbi évek legnagyobb szabású művelete a németországi szélsőjobboldali, neonáci szubkultúra ellen. Értesülésük szerint az egyik gyanúsított a német hadsereg (Bundeswehr) katonája, őrmesteri rangban.

Belgium tizenhárom terroristát fosztott meg állampolgárságuktól, amiért korábban dzsihadista csoportokhoz csatlakoztak Szíriában és Afganisztánban – jelentette a La Libre Belgique című francia nyelvű napilap hétfőn.
A brüsszeli fellebbviteli bíróság két éven belül ötödik alkalommal döntött terrorista csoportokhoz csatlakozott fiatalok belga állampolgárságának megvonásáról. Ilyen bírósági döntés ez idáig 52 embert érint.
A többségében belga-marokkói kettős állampolgársággal rendelkező férfiakat korábban jogerősen tizenöt, tíz, illetve hét év börtönbüntetésre ítélték Belgiumban. Az állampolgárság elvesztése olyan esetben lehetséges, ha az érintett kettős állampolgársággal rendelkezik – írták.
Az elítéltek távollétében hozott döntését a bíróság azzal indokolta, hogy az érintettek „nem teljesítették állampolgári kötelességeiket”. A tizenhárom férfi közül tizenketten 2012 decembere és 2014 decembere között csatlakoztak dzsihadista csoportokhoz Szíriában. A tizenharmadik egy Afganisztánban tevékenykedő terrorista sejt tagjává vált 2007-ben. A bíróság azt feltételezi, hogy a terroristák ellen vívott harcok során majdnem mindannyian meghalhattak, noha – mint írták – erre nincs hivatalos bizonyíték. Feltételezik, hogy egyiküket a kurd erők tarthatják fogva Észak-Szíriában – közölte a napilap.
Az állampolgári nyilvántartásból törölt tizenhárom embernek nyolc nap áll rendelkezésére, hogy fellebbezést nyújtson be az intézkedés ellen – tették hozzá.
