Hét ember meghalt és több mint ötvenen megsérültek a Portugália középső és északi részén pusztító erdőtüzekben – közölték a helyi hatóságok, miután kedden három tűzoltó életét vesztette, amikor járművükkel Nelas közelében a lángok között rekedtek.
A hatóságok szerint eddig összesen 20 ezer hektáron harapództak el a lángok, és két vasútvonalon, illetve több autópályán is lezárásokra volt szükség, köztük a Lisszabon és Porto közötti autópálya egy részén is. Luís Montenegro, Portugália miniszterelnöke, aki a kialakult helyzet miatt lemondta keddi programjait, hangsúlyozta: országa nagyon nehéz napok elé néz, az erdőtüzek miatt kihirdetett veszélyhelyzetet pedig csütörtökig meghosszabbították.
Ugyan év elején és nyáron is sok csapadék esett, így Portugáliába kevesebb erdőtűz volt, mint tavaly, de a hétvégén a 30 Celsius-fok feletti hőmérséklet a rendkívül alacsony páratartalommal és az erős széllel társulva kedvezett a tüzek kialakulásának. Beszámolók szerint csak Aveiro környékén több mint 10 ezer hektárnyi erdőt és bozótost emésztettek fel a lángok két nap alatt, ami nagyjából megegyezik azzal, mintha összeadjuk, hogy idén egész országban mekkora területen pusztítottak erdőtüzek.
A Guardian szerint Portugáliában összesen 5300 tűzoltót mozgósítottak, Franciaország, Olaszország és Spanyolország pedig nyolc, vízzel oltani képes repülőgépet küldött segítségképpen. Hozzátették, miután a 2017-es erdőtüzek 64 emberéletet követeltek, a portugál kormány tízszeresére növelte a tűzmegelőzésre szánt forrásokat, és megduplázta a tűzoltásra szánt költségvetést.

Sikerült megfékezni a hatalmas erdőtüzet, amely három nap óta tombolt a görög fővárostól északkeletre – közölték szerdán a görög hatóságok, de figyelmeztettek, hogy a hőség, a szárazság és az erős szél miatt a lángok újra felcsaphatnak.
Annak ellenére, hogy a legtöbb területen már sikerült megfékezni a lángokat, a hatóságok csütörtökig még fokozott készültségben maradnak. A tűzoltóság szóvivője az AFP hírügynökségnek elmondta, hogy 530 tűzoltó 145 járművel még mindig a helyszínen tartózkodik.
A tűzvész miatt az Európai Unió polgári védelmi mechanizmusát már aktiválták, 300 tűzoltó, helikopterek, tűzoltóautók és tartálykocsik érkeztek Görögországba Franciaországból, Olaszországból, Csehországból, Romániából, Szerbiából és Törökországból, de egyelőre nem vezényelték ki őket a terepre az Athén körüli régióban, Attikában.
A vasárnap keletkezett tüzet egy meghibásodott villanyvezeték okozhatta – írta a Kathimerini című görög napilap a nyomozás eddigi eredményére hivatkozva. Terjedésének gyorsaságát hitetlenkedve fogadta a lakosság. „Olyan volt, mint egy atombomba” – mondta a napilapnak az egyik helyi lakos.
A héten Athéntól északkeletre több mint száz négyzetkilométernyi terület perzselődött fel – közölte a tűz megfékezését követően a Kopernikusz európai éghajlatváltozás-figyelő szolgálat.
A görög katasztrófavédelem alátámasztotta ezt az adatot, de azt egyelőre nem tudják, hány ember veszítette el otthonát, vállalkozását vagy gazdaságát. Több tucatnyi települést, amelyek lakóit már korábban biztonságba helyezték, most hamu borít.
Szerdán elkezdődött a kárfelmérés ezeken a településeken, és a lakók visszatérhettek oda. A belügyminisztérium kedden 4,7 millió eurónyi kártérítés szétosztásáról döntött az érintett nyolc településen.
Vaszílisz Kikíliasz, az éghajlati válság és polgári védelem minisztere a közösségi médiában válaszolt a tűzoltók kiérkezési idejét bírálóknak egy olyan videófelvétellel, amelyen az első riasztás után négy perccel egy tűzoltó helikopter érkezik a helyszínre.
A tűzvész miatt Kiriákosz Micotákisz miniszterelnök vasárnap szabadságát megszakítva visszatért Athénba.
A kedd esti rendkívüli kormányülésen kiemelte: „Minden évben próbálunk jobban felkészülni, de a körülmények sajnos egyre nehezebbé válnak” – jelentette ki.
Ellenzéki politikusok szerint a létszámban, felszerelésben és az összehangolt munkában megmutatkozó hiányosságok a megelőzés mellett a tűzoltásra is hatással voltak. Kedd este mintegy kétszáz ember gyűlt össze a görög parlament épülete előtti tiltakozásra, és „bűncselekmény elkövetésével” vádolták a kormányt.

Tűzoltók százai küzdenek Horvátországban, Észak-Macedóniában, Görögországban, Albániában és Bulgáriában a pusztító erdőtüzekkel.
Horvátországban csütörtökön reggelre már sikerült ellenőrzés alá vonni a helyzetet. A helyi tűzoltóság szerda esti tájékoztatása szerint a legkritikusabb helyzet Dalmáciában alakult ki Podgora és Tucepi települések térségében, a Makarska riviérán, Split és Dubrovnik között.
A Slobodna Dalmacija horvát lap szerint a lángokat alig 20 méterre sikerült megfékezni az első lakóépületektől Podgorában. Több mint 300 tűzoltó, hetven tűzoltósági jármű és repülőgép segítségével elejét tudta venni annak, hogy leégjenek a házak. Több tucat helyi lakost és turistát kellett biztonságba helyezni.
A horvát hatóságok szerint a tűz egy helyi méhész gondatlanságából lángolhatott fel a Biokovo nemzeti park területén, amely épp Podgora és Tucepi között található. Mintegy 400 hektár zöldterület vált a lángok martalékává.
Egy másik erdőtűz Split városától 30 kilométerre nyugatra tombol Vrsine környékén. Itt mintegy 500 hektáron lángol az erdőség és a bozótos egy nehezen megközelíthető hegyvidéki régióban.
Észak-Macedónia csütörtökön kért segítséget az Európai Uniótól szintén erdőtüzek miatt. Sztojancse Angelov, a helyi katasztrófavédelmi hatóság vezetője egyben jelezte, hogy a helyzet súlyosbodása esetén a NATO-tól is segítséget kérhetnek.
A fővárostól, Skopjétól mintegy 60 kilométerre keletre pusztító erdőtüzek a héten komoly károkat okoztak házakban, egyes épületeket lakhatatlanná téve. Mindez helyi lakosok evakuálását is szükségessé tette, illetve egy idős lakos életét vesztette.
Szlovénia és Csehország is bejelentette: tűzoltó-helikoptereket küld Észak-Macedóniába.
Görögországban az észak-macedón határon található Diran-tó és Évia szigetén lángolt az erdőség. A tűzoltóság mindkét helyen nagy erőket vetett be a tűz megfékezésére, azonban erős széllökések nehezítették erőfeszítéseiket.
Bulgáriában szintén két nagyobb erdőtűz tombol, az egyik a görög határtérségben, a másik a Malesevszka-hegy térségében, az észak-macedón határon. A tűzoltóság szerint több tízezer hektár erdőség és mezőgazdasági terület érintett.
Albániában szintén tűzoltók százai fáradoznak egy nagyobb erdőtűz megfékezésén Shengjin térségében. A hadsereg alakulatai és önkéntesek is segítik a tűzoltást.

Június 20-án, csütörtökön a tűzoltószolgálathoz bejelentés érkezett egy kétszintes lakóház pincéjében keletkezett tűzről Huszton, a Marko Vovcsok utcában.
Pár perc alatt füst lepte el a ház első emeletét, így a lent tartózkodó lakók azonnal kimentek az udvarra. Két gyermek és édesanyjuk azonban a felső emeleten maradt elzárva az evakuálási útvonalaktól.
A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálat a megadott címre kiérkező tűzoltói létrával hoztak le három személyt az erkélyről, miközben a tüzet is oltották. A 7 éves kisfiút és 6 éves húgát a tűzoltók átadták a mentőknek, a gyerekeket égéstermék-mérgezés gyanújával kórházba szállították. Édesanyjuk megtagadta a kórházi kezelést.
A tüzet a tűzoltók 0 óra 39 percre megfékezték, végül 0 óra 42 perckor eloltották.

Kijev térségében a tűzoltók szombat reggelre eloltották azt a tüzet, amely a három nappal ezelőtti orosz légitámadás következtében keletkezett egy ipari létesítményben – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a tüzet ebben a létesítményben a légvédelmi erők által lelőtt ellenséges támadó drónok lehulló roncsai okozták. A katasztrófavédelem munkatársai elmondták, hogy csak most sikerült eloltani a tüzet az objektumon.
„Kijev megye. Június 15-én 7 óra 21 perckor eloltották az ipari vállalatnál az orosz fegyveres agresszió következtében június 12-én keletkezett tüzet” – áll a katasztrófavédelem közleményében.
A Kijev Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció június 12-én délelőtt jelentette, hogy tűz ütött ki egy ipari létesítményben, miután éjjel az ellenség rakétákkal és kamikaze drónokkal támadta a térséget.
Másnap, június 13-án a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata arról számolt be, hogy a létesítményben folytatódik a tűz oltása. A helyszínen csaknem 300 tűzoltó és 100 technikai eszköz, valamint 4 tűzoltóautó dolgozott.
Június 14-én a katasztrófavédelem dolgozói arról számoltak be, hogy a tűz elhárítása folyamatban van, a tüzet lokalizálták, a tűzoltók a hűtésen dolgoznak.

A jelentés szerint Kozickij azt írta, hogy „a 09:31 órakor elrendelt légiriadó alatt az ellenséges MiG-31K repülőgépekről indított Kinzsalok Lemberg megyében csapódtak be.”

Csütörtökön a kövesligeti (Drahovo) katasztrófavédelem dolgozói elkéstek a szolgálatról, de ezért nem jár büntetés, mert megmentették egy gyerek életét.
Vaszil Orosz, az Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ) kövesligeti osztályának vezetője és három beosztottja – Olekszandr Roman, Joszip Bozsan és Szerhij Tomiscs a szolgálati hely felé tartva szemtanúja volt egy közlekedési balesetnek Ötvösfalva (Zolotarjovo) falu központjában. A fejtetőre borult autó mellett egy zavarodott apa a karjában tartotta eszméletlen lányát, s a stressztől nem értette, mi történik. A közelben volt egy sérült sofőr, akinek szintén segítségre volt szüksége.
Nagyon gyorsan kellett dönteni, ugyanis egy 8 éves gyermek élete múlott a tűzoltók intézkedéseinek összehangoltságán, helyességén. A sérült lány állapotának felmérése után a tűzoltók apjával együtt az autójukba tették, és azonnal a Huszti Járási Kórházba szállították. Útközben azt is ellenőrizték, hogy a gyerek mozdulatlan legyen.
A többi tűzoltó pedig, miután megvárták a mentősök kiérkezését, a sofőrt a gondozásukra bízták, és néhány perc múlva a megszokott üzemmódban folytatták útjukat, hogy a munkahelyükre beérve tovább segítsenek az embereken.

Az áldozatot ezután a mentősök elsősegélyben részesítették, s a nő megtagadta a további kórházi kezelést.
A mintegy 100 négyzetméteres területen tomboló tüzet másfél óra alatt eloltották a sürgősségi szolgálat tűzoltói.

Hétfőre virradó éjszaka robbanások sorozata rázta meg Dnyiprot, az orosz csapatok több mint 20 rakétát és drónt lőttek ki a városra, de a legtöbb célpontot a légvédelmi erők lelőtték, azonban négy becsapódást is észleltek – közölte Szerhij Liszak, a Dnyipropetrovszk Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetőjének a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Liszak azt írta: „Ezen az éjszakán a Kelet hadműveleti csoport légvédelmi erői 15 drónt és 4 cirkálórakétát lőttek le régiónk felett. Sajnos azonban vannak becsapódások is.” A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának több épülete is megrongálódott. Két helyen ütött ki tűz, amit már eloltottak. Több mint 10 teherautó és személygépkocsi és sok speciális felszerelés is megsemmisült. Ezenkívül 25 személygépkocsi és 2 autóbusz megrongálódott. Egy dnyiproi magánvállalkozást is találat ért. A becsapódás következtében 3 épület megsérült.
Az éjszaka folyamán összesen 7 ember sérült meg. Egy 52 éves és egy 70 éves nő kórházban van. Ugyancsak megrongálódott 3 lakóház és 9 tömblakásos épült, valamint egy óvoda, üzlet, adminisztratív épület és 6 autó megsérült.
