Túszul ejtette, majd megölte hétfő este az egykori lakása felújításán dolgozó két munkást egy férfi a romániai Onesti-en – közölték a romániai hírforrások.
A Digi24 hírtelevízió beszámolója szerint a 68 éves férfit és családját évekkel korábban kilakoltatták a tömbházlakásból. Az ingatlannal még 2008-ban kártalanította a bíróság egy büntetőperben azt a vállalatot, amelytől a túszejtő felesége sikkasztott.
A vállalat hétfőn két munkást küldött a lakásba, hogy elkezdjék a felújítási munkálatokat. A korábbi tulajdonos késekkel felfegyverkezve behatolt a lakásba, megkötözte a munkásokat, és maga értesítette a rendőrséget a túszejtésről. Cserében a lakás fölötti tulajdonjoga visszaállítását kérte.
Egy rendőrségi túsztárgyaló négy órán át próbálta meggyőzni a túszok elengedéséről. A rohamrendőrség akkor hatolt be a lakásba, amikor segélykiáltásokat hallott bentről. Ekkor azonban már mindkét munkást leszúrta. Egyikük a helyszínen, a másikuk a kórházba szállítás közben életét vesztette.
A rendőrök többször rálőttek a túszejtőre, őt is súlyos sebesülésekkel szállították kórházba. A rendőrség őrizetbe vette a túszejtő feleségét, akit cinkossággal gyanúsítanak.

Sajtóhírek szerint az olasz rendőrök igazoltatni akartak egy egyiptomi férfit a milánói dóm előtt, a 30 éves férfi azonban beszaladt a katedrálisba, ahol letepert egy biztonsági őrt és kést szorított a nyakához. Az incidensről több felvétel is felkerült a közösségi oldalakra, ezeken az látszik, amint egy tucat rendőr szegez fegyvert a túszejtőre, majd egy női rendőr próbált tárgyalni a férfival, majd az egyik kollégája egy szempillantás alatt lefegyverezte. Az egyiptomit őrizetbe vették.

Csak néhány részlet tudható arról a meghökkentő tengeri incidensről, mely a források szerint még a múlt hónap végén történt: egy elégedetlen biztonsági őr három napig fogva tartotta egy teherhajó legénységét, és eltérítette a hatalmas járművet.
Alig néhány részletet árult el a tőzsdén is jegyzett Eagle Bulk nevű, tengeri teherszállítással foglalkozó nagyvállalat arról az esetről, ami a Jaeger nevű, ömlesztett árut szállító hajójukon még július végén történt. Eszerint a hatalmas jármű az Indiai-óceánon haladt a Vörös-tenger irányába, fedélzetén három fegyveres biztonsági őrrel. Az őröket az iparági ajánlásoknak megfelelően, a magas biztonsági kockázatot jelentő térségen való áthaladás miatt bérelte fel a hajóüzemeltető.
A protokoll szerint a fedélzeten tartózkodó őrök a fegyvereiket a kapitánynak adják át, ha azokra épp nincs szükségük. A háromból az egyik őr azonban ezt egy alkalommal nem tette meg, hanem magánál tartva azt, átvette a hajó irányítását, és lényegében eltérítette azt.
A jármű azután már nem haladt tovább a tervezett ütemben és a legénységnek azt kellett tennie, amit a fegyveres őr mondott – tájékoztatott a cég.
Kiderült, hogy a biztonsági őr végső elkeseredettségében tette, amit tett. Kiderült ugyanis, hogy az a magán biztonsági szolgáltató, amely őt alkalmazta, már hónapok óta nem folyósította fizetését, így a férfi a túszejtéssel akarta kikényszeríteni elmaradt bérét. Azt szerette volna elérni, hogy járandósága mellett, kompenzációt is kapjon a késői kifizetésért.
Az ügy sok részlete még nem tisztázott, az Eagle Bulk nem is tagadta, hogy törekedtek arra, a nyilvánosság ne értesüljön addig a hajón történekről, amíg az események le nem zárulnak. A cégnél közölték, tengerbiztonsági szakértők is azt tanácsolták nekik, a közvéleményt addig ne tájékoztassák az esetről, amíg az meg nem oldódik.
Erre végül három nap után került sor, amikor az őr hajlandó volt átadni fegyverét, és a hajó folytathatta útját az eredeti útvonalon.
A vállalatnál kiemelték, hogy a fegyveres őr nem okozott senkinek semmilyen sérülést, és nem viselkedett erőszakosan a legénység egyetlen tagjával szemben sem, sőt, folyamatos volt a kapcsolattartás a hajó és a hatóságok, illetve a legénység tagjai és azok családtagjai között. A másik két biztonsági őr nem vett részt társuk akciójában.
A hajót üzemeltető cég elismerését fejezte ki a kapitánynak és a legénység tagjainak, mert az események alatt megőrizték higgadtságukat, így miután az őr hajlandó volt átadni fegyverét, a hajó folytathatta útját. A vállalat ugyanakkor további részleteket egyelőre nem akar nyilvánosságra hozni a kínos ügyről.

Robbanószer felrobbantásával fenyegetőzött egy férfi Kijev belvárosában egy kereskedelmi központban lévő bankintézetben, de rövid időn belül őrizetbe vették – hozta nyilvánosságra az ukrán rendőrség.
A férfi déltájban ment be az Universal bank fiókintézetébe, és azt állította, hogy a hátizsákjában robbanószer van. A helyiséget mindenki elhagyta, a fiókvezető önként jelentkezett, hogy ott marad túsznak – tájékoztatott Anton Herascsenko belügyminiszter-helyettes a Facebook-oldalán. A hírportál beszámolója alapján az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) Alfa különleges alakulata a rendőrséggel közösen megrohamozta a bankhelyiséget, és akkor fogták el, amikor épp a média képviselőivel beszélt. Alig két hete, július 21-én a nyugat-ukrajnai Luckban ejtette túszul egy busz 13 utasát egy fegyveres férfi, aki szintén robbanószer felrobbantásával fenyegetőzött. A reggeltől késő estig tartó túszdráma akkor azután oldódott meg, hogy Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök teljesítette a túszejtő követelését: megkért mindenki a saját Facebook-oldalán, hogy nézzék meg a 2005-ben készült Földlakók című amerikai állatvédő dokumentumfilmet. Ezután a terrorista megadta magát és elengedte a túszokat, akik közül senki sem sérült meg.
Rá néhány nappal a kelet-ukrajnai Poltavában egy autótolvaj ejtett túszul egy rendőrtisztet, miközben megpróbálták a jármű eltulajdonításáért őrizetbe venni és egy gránát felrobbantásával fenyegetőzött. A drogbirtoklásért és más bűncselekményekért többszörösen büntetett előéletű férfi később elengedte a túszát és nyolc napig bujkált a hatóságok elől. Végül szombaton bukkantak rá egy elhagyott házban Poltava megyében, ahol ismét túszul ejtett egy rendőrt és ismét a gránáttal fenyegetőzött, de egy mesterlövész kilőtte. Екіпаж патрульних — Павло Боярчук та Олександр Головицький — прибув на виклик, де жінка мала намір скоїти самогубство.Вона стояла за поручнями балкона й будь-якої миті могла прийняти непоправне рішення, тож поліцейський побіг на 15 поверх що було сил. Патрульний дивом встиг. На його очах жінка відпустила руки й зробила крок. Секунда. Але допомогла миттєва реакція патрульного Павла Боярчука - він встигнув схопити її за руку й утримати. На крики патрульного прийшли мешканці будинку: двоє сусідів допомагали тримати жінку зверху, ще двоє стояли на 14 поверсі та підпирали їй ноги.Жінка пручалася, і навіть з такою підтримкою Павлові не вдалося одразу затягнути її на балкон. Задля безпеки, інспектору довелося пристебнути жінку кайданками до поручнів.У цей момент на допомогу прибув інший екіпаж патрульних — Богдан Димчук та Андрій Бобровник. Спільними зусиллями інспекторів та мешканців будинку жінку витягнули на балкон. Надалі її шпиталізували.
