„Az Egyesült Államok növelte a légi támadások számát az afgán kormányerők támogatása végett az elmúlt napokban és készen állunk, hogy fenntartsuk a támogatást a következő hetekben, ha a tálibok folytatják a támadásaikat” – írta Frank McKenzie tengerészgyalogos-tábornok, az afganisztáni műveleteket irányító amerikai parancsnok egy közleményben.
Hozzátette: a kormányerők a légi csapások mellett logisztikai, hírszerzési és finanszírozási támogatást is kapnak Amerikától.
McKenzie arról viszont nem beszélt, hogy mi történik majd augusztus 31 után, amikor a NATO-csapatok hivatalosan is elhagyják Afganisztánt. Korábban a Biden-kormány tisztségviselői nyilatkoztak arról, hogy tárgyalnak régiós országokkal arról, hogy a légibázisaikat használják amerikai repülőgépek és katonák állomásoztatására, de még hivatalosan egy szomszédos országgal sem sikerült ilyen jellegű megállapodást kötni.
A tálibok gyors előretörése miatt Afganisztán körülbelül 60-80%-a a kezükre került már.

Az izraeli hadsereg az éjszaka légicsapást hajtott végre a Gázai övezetben, válaszul a léggömb terrorra, mely tüzeket okozott a zsidó állam déli határánál.
Az izraeli vadászgépek lebombáztak egy fegyvergyártó telepet, melyet az övezetet uraló Halász terrorszervezet fegyver fejlesztésre és kutatásra használt, közölte az Izraeli Védelmi Erők Twitteren.
Az izraeli hadsereg közleménye hangsúlyozta, a zsidó államot célzó gázai terrorista kísérletekre erőteljes válasszal fognak szembesülni.
Két hét szünet után, csütörtökön négy tüzet okoztak Izrael déli részén a Gázai övezetből átreptetett tűzveszélyes eszközt szállító léggömbök, közölték a tűzoltók.
A lángok többsége kicsi volt és veszélytelen, nem okozott jelentős kárt.
Izrael a május 21-én hatályba lépett tűzszünet után kezdte enyhíteni a korlátozásokat a Gázai övezetben, amely véget vetett Izrael és a Hamász közötti leghalálosabb harcoknak a 2014-es háború óta.
A tűzszünet nagyrészt kitart, bár június első felében a palesztin terroristák léggömb terrorja számos tüzet okozott az izraeli mezőgazdasági területeken. A zsidó állam légicsapásokkal válaszolt.

A palesztinok lakta Gázai övezetben éjszaka is folytatódtak az izraeli légicsapások. Gáza városában legkevesebb tíz embert, köztük gyerekeket öltek meg a repülőgépekről ledobott bombák. Szombat délelőtt is zajlott a romok eltakarítása, ekkor az egyik épület darabjai alatt egy csecsemőt találtak, aki csodával határos módon túlélte az éjjeli légicsapást.
A Gázai övezetből a Hamász szélsőséges szervezet folyamatosan rakétákkal lő izraeli célpontokat, a zsidó állam hadserege szerint több mint ezer rakétát lőttek ki palesztin területről. Izrael a légierőt és szárazföldi csapatokat is bevetett a harcokba, főleg repülőgépekről bombázzák a Gázai övezetet, de tüzérséggel is lőtték a szélsőségesek állásait.
Az izraeliek és a palesztinok közötti összecsapások Jeruzsálemben kezdődtek, nagyjából egy héttel ezelőtt. A zsidók és arabok közötti erőszak azóta Izrael más vegyes lakosságú településeire is átterjedt. Szélsőséges zsidó és palesztin szervezetek támadják meg egymás tulajdonát, autókat és üzleteket gyújtanak fel.
A Tel-Avivhoz közeli Lod városában éjszaka összecsaptak a helyi izraeliek és az ott élő arabok. A rendőrök több embert őrizetbe vettek. Közben Ciszjordániában is tömegtüntetések kezdődtek Izrael ellen. Több ezren vonultak utcára, hogy elítéljék az izraeli erőszakot.

Feltehetőleg dél-libanoni palesztin csoportok három rakétát indítottak Izrael felé csütörtökön.
A libanoni biztonsági erők közleménye szerint legalább három rakétát lőttek ki Libanon déli részéről Izrael felé – tudósít az Al Jazeera.
Az izraeli hadsereg szerint a libanoni rakéták a Földközi-tengerbe csapódtak, károkat nem okoztak, áldozatot nem követeltek. A rakétákat a Naqourától északra fekvő térségből, az izraeli határ közeléből indították.
Dél-Libanon több fegyveres palesztin csoportnak és a síita Hezbollah szervezetnek is otthont ad.
A helyi sajtó beszámolója szerint a libanoni erők őrizetbe vették a rakéták indításáért felelős embereket, akik valószínűsíthetően nem a Hezbollah tagjai, hanem palesztin csoportoké.
Az izraeli vadászgépek folytatják a Gázára mért csapásokat, az ország tovább növelte a Palesztina közelében állomásozó katonáinak és harckocsijainak számát.
Gáza egészségügyi minisztériuma közölte, hogy legalább 87 ember életét követelték az izraeli légicsapások, közöttük 18 gyermekét. Több mint 530 ember megsebesült.

A karen etnikai csoporthoz tartozó felkelők megtámadták és elfoglalták a mianmari hadsereg egyik ellenőrző pontját a Thaifölddel közös határ közelében – közölte kedden a lázadók egyik szóvivője.
A szóvivő szerint a katonák elmenekültek. Halálos áldozatokról nem tudni, a felkelők elfoglalták az ellenőrző pontot – tette hozzá.
A The Irrawaddy című helyi napilap szerint szemtanúk a dzsungelbe menekülő hét katonát láttak.
A helyi médiumok által megjelentetett felvételek tanúsága szerint a gerilláknak egyebek között nagy kaliberű fegyverek tucatjait, számos lőszert és robbanószerkezeteket sikerült zsákmányolniuk a hadseregtől. A médiaforrások szintén nem számoltak be áldozatokról.
A hadsereg a február eleji puccs óta rendszeresen légicsapásokat mért az etnikai kisebbségek, köztük a karenek által is lakott területekre. A lázadók szóvivője szerint immár több mint 24 ezer karen kénytelen meghúzni magát a dzsungelben a mianmari hadsereg légicsapásai miatt. Elmondása szerint a települések felett folyamatosan vadászrepülőgépek repülnek, ezért az emberek nem mernek visszamenni otthonaikba.
A mianmari hadsereg később légicsapásokat mért a karen gerillaszervezet állásaira – erről számolt be a Free Burma Rangers nevű helyi segélyszervezet, amely szerint egyelőre nem tudni, hogy voltak-e halálos áldozatai a légitámadásoknak.
A Radio Free Asia nevű – washingtoni székhelyű és az amerikai kormányzat finanszírozta – műsorszolgáltató eközben arról adott hírt, hogy a puccs után alakult egyik milícia rajtaütött hétfőn egy katonai konvojon, aminek következtében legalább 15 ember vesztette életét a nyugat-mianmari Csin állam területén.
Az évtizedek óta nagyobb autonómiáért küzdő etnikai fegyveres csoportok némelyike támogatja a katonai puccs elleni megmozdulásokat. A tüntetőkkel szembeni brutális hatósági fellépések miatt ezrek menekültek Thaiföldre is.
Kedden a mianmari ellenzéki egységkormány vezetője bírálta a Délkelet-ázsiai Országok Szövetsége (ASEAN) tagállamainak vezetőit, akik a hétvégén az indonéz fővárosban, Jakartában rendkívüli csúcstalálkozót tartottak a mianmari válság megvitatására. Bár Man Vin Khain Than megköszönte az ASEAN-tagállamok (Mianmar mellett Szingapúr, Brunei, Kambodzsa, Indonézia, Laosz, Malajzia, a Fülöp-szigetek, Thaiföld és Vietnam) vezetőinek támogatását Mianmar és népe felé, kritizálta a csoportot azért, hogy lépései továbbra is leginkább csak „elvontak”.
Az ellenzéki egységkormány vezetője felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy immár csaknem 800 ember vesztette életét a biztonsági erők fellépése nyomán a puccs kezdete óta, több mint háromezren pedig továbbra is őrizetben vannak, köztük Vin Mjint elnök, valamint a Nobel-békedíjas Aung Szan Szú Kjí államtanácsos, az ország de facto vezetője.
Az ASEAN-csúcson Mianmart a katonai juntát vezető Min Aung Hlaing tábornok képviselte, akinek ez volt első külföldi útja a februári katonai hatalomátvétel óta. A találkozó a koronavírus-járvány miatt érvényben lévő korlátozások miatt nem volt nyilvános. Joko Widodo indonéziai elnök szerint a jakartai csúcsot követően az ASEAN vezetői felszólították a juntát, hogy vessen véget az erőszaknak, kezdjen párbeszédet az érintettekkel, és tegye lehetővé a humanitárius segítségnyújtást.
Mianmarban a hadsereg február elsején, a parlament megalakulása előtt pár órával vette át a hatalmat, őrizetbe véve a kormányzó Nemzeti Liga a Demokráciáért (NLD) számos politikusát. A hadsereg azzal indokolta a puccsot, hogy a kormány nem vette figyelembe a novemberi választással kapcsolatos panaszaikat. A választást toronymagasan az NLD nyerte. A puccs óta rendszeresek a tömegmegmozdulások, amelyek ellen a hadsereg egyre keményebben lép fel.

Azt írják, a támadás válaszlépés volt a Hamasz éjszakai akciójára.
Az izraeli hadsereg szombaton bejelentette, hogy légiereje csapásokat mért a Hamász palesztin iszlamista szervezet több katonai létesítményére a Gázai övezetben. A tájékoztatás szerint a támadás válasz volt arra, hogy a Hamász az irányítása alatt álló övezetből legalább 20 rakétát lőtt ki az éjszaka folyamán dél-izraeli területek felé, amik egy része még a becsapódás előtt felrobbant, másokat pedig a Vaskupola nevű izraeli légvédelmi rendszer semmisített meg. A bejelentésben azt közölték, hogy a szervezet föld alatti létesítményére és rakétatakilövő állomásaira mértek csapásokat.
A The Times of Israel című, angol nyelvű hírportálon azt írták, hogy a Hamász péntek éjjeli támadása az elmúlt hónapok legnagyobb művelete volt.
Izrael és a Hamász között három hadművelet és számos kisebb összecsapás zajlott az iszlamisták 2007-es gázai hatalomátvétele óta.
A Hamászt Izrael, az Egyesült Államok és az Európai Unió terroristaszervezetként tartja számon.

A török légierő tizenhét hónap fegyverszünet után ismét megtámadott meg egy kurd fegyveres csoport által ellenőrzött területet Észak-Szíriában – olvasható az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) civil szervezet portálján.
A Szíriában erőteljesen jelen lévő és kiterjedt aktivistahálózattal rendelkező OSDH arról számolt be, hogy egy török vadászgép a Szíriai Demokratikus Erők (SDF) nevű kurd-arab milíciaszövetség állásai ellen intézett légicsapást a Szaida nevű faluban, Ain Isza város közelében.
„Ez volt az első légitámadás azóta, hogy Ankara és az SDF-fel szemben álló szíriai csoportok 2019 októberében végrehajtották a Béke forrása kódnevű hadműveletüket” – mondta Rámi Abdel-Rahmán, az OSDH vezetője.
Szíriában sajátos helyzet alakult ki, miután a török kormány az Egyesült Államokkal és Oroszországgal is megállapodás kötött, melynek kövekezményeként leállított hadműveleteit a térségben és elfoglalhatott egy százhúsz kilométer széles és mintegy harmic kilométer mély határszakaszt szíriai területen. Azonban Ain Isza városa és annak környéke azonban a kurd erők kezén maradt, azaz semmilyen befolyással nem rendelkeznek a megtámadott területen a török erők.
Az OSDH szerint a harcok a stratégiai fontosságú település peremén dúlnak.
„Az összecsapások már huszonnégy órája tartanak a két fél között (…) A török erők nehezen haladnak előre, miközben az SDF-nek sikerült megsemmisítenie egy török harckocsit” – mondta Rámi Abdel-Rahmán.
Az SDF szerves részét képező Népvédelmi Egységek (YPG) nevű milíciát Ankara a Kurdisztáni Munkáspárt (PKK) szíriai szárnyának tekinti és terroristának minősíti. Ez a kurd milícia azonban a nemzetközi dzsihadistaellenes szövetség támogatásával élén jár az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) szélsőséges csoport elleni szíriai fegyveres harcban.

Csütörtökön az Egyesült Államok Szíriában egy Irán-barát milícia egyik objektumára mért légicsapást, 17 ember meghalt – jelentették amerikai illetékesek a Reuters hírügynökséggel.
A hírügynökség szerint ez a múlt héten Irakban amerikai célpontok ellen végrehajtott rakétatámadás miatti válaszcsapás volt. A Reuters forrásai tudatták, hogy a támadást Joe Biden amerikai elnök hagyta jóvá. A védelmi minisztérium egyelőre hivatalosan nem erősítette meg az értesülést.
A brit székhelyű, Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) péntek hajnalban arról számolt be, hogy az iraki határ közelében végrehajtott csapásban három, lőszert szállító teherautó semmisült meg, és legkevesebb 17 ember meghalt. Mindannyian a Hasd as-Saabi tagjai voltak, amely egy Iránnal szövetséges, iraki félkatonai szervezet.
Február 15-én az észak-iraki Erbílben található amerikai bázist érte rakétatámadás, amelyben egy nem amerikai szerződéses biztonsági ember meghalt, több amerikai pedig megsérült. Pár nappal később Bagdad közelében is rakétatámadás ért egy bázist, ahol amerikaiak is állomásoznak.

Damaszkusz fölött izraeli rakétákat semmisített meg a szíriai légvédelem – közölte az MTI az arab ország hadseregének közleményére hivatkozva. Az MTI szerint a helyszíni beszámolókban Damaszkusz déli részéből robbanások is szerepelnek.
Az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű aktivistahálózat úgy tudja, hogy a támadás egy fegyverraktárt ért a Damaszkuszt Bejrúttal összekötő út mentén, fél óráig tartott, és legkevesebb hat ember halálát okozta, akik közül egyik sem volt szíriai.
Jóllehet a szíriai állami média híradása nem említette a rakéták célpontját, egy meg nem nevezett katonai forrás csak annyit mondott, hogy a rakéták az Izrael által megszállt Golán-fennsík és Galilea felől érkeztek. A Reuters hírügynökség egy szíriai dezertőrre hivatkozva azt jelentette, hogy rakéták csapódtak be a Damaszkusztól körülbelül 14 kilométerre délre található Kiszva jelentős katonai támaszpontján. A bázison a hírügynökség szerint nagyrészt Irán-barát milicisták tartózkodnak.
Hírügynökségek szerint ezt a támadást is valószínűleg Izrael hajtotta végre, amint már sokszor a szíriai polgárháború 2011-es kezdete óta. Izraelben hivatalosan ritkán ismerik el, ha a légierő vagy a tüzérség végrehajt ilyen támadást, általában nem nyilatkoznak, de a jeruzsálemi vezetés stratégiai fenyegetést lát a damaszkuszi kormánnyal szövetséges Irán egyre erősödő befolyásában. Aviv Kochavi vezérkari főnök decemberben azt mondta, az izraeli rakétatámadások sikeresen lassítják az Irán-barát milíciák terjeszkedését Szíriában. Hozzátette, hogy 2020-ban rakétáik több mint 500 célpontot találtak el.
Az izraeli hadsereg éppen hétfő reggel meglepetésszerűen bejelentette, hogy a légierő gyakorlatba kezdett az ország északi részén.
Nyugati hírszerzési források szerint Irán katonai jelenléte az elmúlt években erősödött Szíriában, általa támogatott Hezbollah síita milícia pedig a keleti, déli és északnyugati országrészekben is jelentős területeket vont ellenőrzése alá, befolyását pedig kiterjesztette Damaszkusz több külvárosára is. E források szerint a milícia ellenőrzi a libanoni-szíriai határmenti sáv jelentős részét is.
Az utóbbi évek legnagyobbjainak számító izraeli légicsapások többségét az elmúlt két hónapban elsősorban az iraki határon fekvő, a Bagdadot Damaszkusszal összekötő autópálya mentén lévő al-Bukamal térségéből jelentették.

Izrael légicsapást mért szerda este több célpontra a szíriai fővárostól délre, a légvédelem több rakétát megsemmisített – adta hírül a SANA szíriai állami hírügynökség.
Egyes források arról számoltak be, hogy az izraeli hadsereg a Golán-fennsíkról az iráni Forradalmi Gárda támaszpontjait vette célba.
Sajtóértesülések szerint ez már a harmadik támadás volt izraeli részről az utóbbi tíz napon belül.
Az izraeli hadsereg egyelőre nem kommentálta a történteket.
Korábban a zsidó állam elismerte, hogy több támadást is végrehajtott a szomszédos Szíriában a polgárháború 2011-es kitörése óta, mivel stratégiai fenyegetést lát a damaszkuszi vezetássel szövetséges Irán egyre erősödő befolyásában.
