Kedd reggel egy brüsszeli kávézóban lelőttek egy embert, miután a belga rendőrség hajtóvadászatot indított egy férfi után, aki hétfő este két embert ölt meg a városban egy nemzetközi labdarúgó-mérkőzés előtt. Az ügyészség meerősítette a lövöldözés tényét, de a gyanúsítottat hivatalosan még nem azonosították.
A belga média arról számolt be, hogy a Schaerbeekben lévő kávézóban lelőtt személy a feltételezett merénylő, akit Abdesalem Lassoued néven neveztek meg. Ez a kerület volt a brüsszeli terrortámadással gyanúsított 45 éves tunéziai férfi lakóhelye.
Később azonban egy belga ügyész azt mondta, a hatóságok egyelőre nem biztosak abban, hogy a lelőtt személy a gyanúsított volt – írja a Sky News.
Annelies Verlinden, Belgium belügyminisztere is megerősítette, hogy egy gyanúsítottat „lelőttek”. A miniszter a személyazonosságának megerősítése nélkül hozzátette, hogy a támadáskor használt automata fegyvert megtalálták a semlegesített személynél. A politikus azt mondta, a meglőtt férfi jelenleg az intenzív osztályon kezelik.
Mint arról beszámoltunk, a belga hatóságok hajtóvadászatot indítottak hétfő este, miután két embert lelőttek, egy személyt pedig megsebesítettek Brüsszel belvárosában.
Egy amatőr felvételen egy narancssárga kabátos férfi volt látható, amint robogóval érkezik, és megáll a járdán. Ezután rálőtt két emberre, beviharzott egy épületbe, ahol újra közelről lőtt az emberekre.

Eric Van Duyse, a szövetségi ügyészség szóvivője szerint az elkövető szándékosan választott ki svéd állampolgárságú áldozatokat. A skandináv ország a közelmúltban az iszlamisták célkeresztjébe került a Korán-égetések miatt.

A török belügyminisztérium közlése szerint két öngyilkos terrorista támadta meg a tárca épületét, az egyiket ártalmatlanították, de a másik felrobbantotta magát.
Két rendőr könnyebben megsérült a belügyiminisztérium bejárata közelében végrehajtott támadásban – közölte Ali Yerlikaya török belügyiminiszter az X (korábban Twitter – a szerk.) közösségi platformon.
A televíziós felvételeken különleges bombakereső egységeket lehetett látni, amint egy, a parlament és a minisztériumok közelében parkoló gépkocsit vizsgálnak át, amelynek közelében egy rakétavető feküdt az úttesten.
Egyelőre nem közöltek további információt az elkövetőkről, de az elmúlt években kurd és szélsőbaloldali csoportok, valamint az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorista szervezet tagjai is követtek el halálos terrortámadásokat Törökországban.
A török parlament a nyári szünetet követően vasárnap kezdi meg őszi plenáris ülésszakát.

A gyilkosságokat elítélte Gustavo Petro elnök és Iván Velásquez védelmi miniszter.
Moralesben és környékén a FARC-ból kivált csoport mellett kábítószerbandák működnek, valamint a Nemzeti Felszabadítási Hadsereg (ELN) gerillaszervezet is aktív.
Az ELN és a kormánykatonák között augusztus elején lépett életbe hat hónapos tűzszünet, a FARC pedig már 2016-ban békemegállapodást írt alá a kormánnyal.

Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) elfogott egy állítólagos informátort, aki a gyanú szerint részt vett egy Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök ellen irányuló merénylet előkészületeiben – írja a CNN.
Az oroszok légicsapást terveztek Zelenszkij ellen, mikor az államfő Mikolajiv megyébe látogatott. A nő az SZBU szerint titkos információkat gyűjtött a tervezett látogatásról.
Zelenszkij július végén járt a déli megyében.
Az ukrán titkosszolgálat közleményében azt írta, a besúgó megpróbálta megállapítani az államfőnek a megye területén tett körülbelüli útjának időpontját és a helyszínek listáját.
Az SZBU ügynökei azonban információkat szereztek „a gyanúsított felforgató tevékenységéről”, és további biztonsági intézkedéseket foganatosítottak.
Megállapították, hogy a nő a dél-ukrajnai Ocsakovban lakott, és korábban a régió egyik katonai egységének területén lévő katonai boltban dolgozott eladóként. Állítólag körbejárta a körzet területét, és ukrajnai objektumok helyszíneit filmezte le.

Az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet vállalta magára pénteken a Telegram-csatornáján a szíriai főváros közelében lévő síita szentély ellen előző nap elkövetett pokolgépest támadást.
A merényletben hatan életüket vesztették és negyvenhatan sebesültek meg – közölte a szíriai állami média a damaszkuszi külügyminisztériumra hivatkozva csütörtökön.
A közlések szerint a pokolgépet egy taxiban helyezték el a Damaszkusztól délre található Szajjida Zeineb mauzóleum és mecset előtt és távirányítással hozták működésbe.
Az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű szervezet szerint a közelben található az Irán támogatását élvező egyik fegyveres csoport egyik bázisa.
A terrorszervezet vállalta magára a szintén a szentélynél történt keddi merénylet elkövetését is, amelyben ketten sebesültek meg.
A szentély a síita muszlimok negyvennapos gyászidőszaka alatt gyakran látogatott zarándokhelynek számít, jelentős részben iráni hívők keresik fel.
Pénteken tartották a síita iszlám egyik legfontosabb ünnepét, az ásúrát.

Közben az orosz hatóságok közölték, letartóztattak egy férfit a gyilkossággal kapcsolatban.
Egyes feltételezések szerint a gyanúsított Szerhij Denysenko, az ukrán karate-szövetség korábbi vezetője.
A rendőrség közölt egy videót is a letartóztatásról, ám azon nem lehet ellenőrizni a férfi személyazonosságát. Később közzétettek egy olyan felvételt is, melyen Rzsickijt egy biciklis férfi követi reggeli futása közben.
A Kommerszant nevű orosz napilap szerint a volt tengerésztisztet az Olimp sportközpont melletti parkban lőtték hátba és mellkasba.
Érdekesség az esettel kapcsolatban, hogy Rzsickij személyes adatai és címe elérhető volt a Mirotvorec honlapon is, amely az Ukrajna ellenségeinek tartott személyek nem hivatalos adatbázisaként működik. Az oldalon a fényképére most a „likvidálva” szó került fel piros betűkkel.

Merényletet kíséreltek meg a szakadár Luhanszki Népköztársaság belügyminisztere ellen. Igor Kornetet hétfőn robbantották fel, a támadásban rajta kívül még hatan sérültek meg Luhanszk város központjában.
A megbízott luhanszki vezető, Leonyid Paszecsnyik közlése szerint négyen súlyos állapotban vannak, köztük Kornet és egy 17 éves fiú is. Minden sérültet kórházba szállítottak – írja a RIA Novosztyi orosz hírportál.
A robbanás egy fodrászatban történt, a helyi tévécsatorna épülete mellett, alig ötszáz méterre a kormányzói épülettől.
Az Unian ukrán hírportál cikke szerint Kornetet intenzív osztályon ápolják, feltételezések szerint egy házilag készített bombával próbálhatták meg megölni a minisztert.
Kornet korábban az ukrán belügyminisztériumban dolgozott, de hamar átpártolt az oroszok oldalára, 2014-ben pedig máris a szakadár állam belügyére lett. Azóta alaposan bebiztosította magát, és részt vett abban a puccsban is, amellyel megdöntötték 2017-ben a szakadárok akkori katonai vezetőjének, Igor Plotnyickijnek a hatalmát. Moszkva végül Korneték oldalára állt.
