Manolisz Pilavov, Luhanszk korábbi polgármesterének likvidálása az ideiglenesen megszállt városban az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) különleges művelete volt, a volt városvezetőt felrobbantották – számolt be csütörtökön az rbc.ua hírportál az SZBU-ban lévő forrásaira hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az SZBU megjegyezte, hogy Pilavov 2014 és 2023 között vezette az ideiglenesen megszállt Luhanszk adminisztrációját. Az Luhanszki Népköztársaság egyik ideológusa volt, Igor Plotnickij helytartó munkatársa. Pilavov személyesen részt vett az állami rendszer megdöntésében.
2015 óta Luhanszk volt polgármesterét az ukrán büntetőtörvénykönyv 109. cikkelye (az alkotmányos rend erőszakos megváltoztatására vagy megdöntésére, az államhatalom megragadására irányuló cselekmények) alapján körözik, 2022 óta pedig ukrán szankciók hatálya alatt áll.

Merényletet kíséreltek meg a szakadár Luhanszki Népköztársaság belügyminisztere ellen. Igor Kornetet hétfőn robbantották fel, a támadásban rajta kívül még hatan sérültek meg Luhanszk város központjában.
A megbízott luhanszki vezető, Leonyid Paszecsnyik közlése szerint négyen súlyos állapotban vannak, köztük Kornet és egy 17 éves fiú is. Minden sérültet kórházba szállítottak – írja a RIA Novosztyi orosz hírportál.
A robbanás egy fodrászatban történt, a helyi tévécsatorna épülete mellett, alig ötszáz méterre a kormányzói épülettől.
Az Unian ukrán hírportál cikke szerint Kornetet intenzív osztályon ápolják, feltételezések szerint egy házilag készített bombával próbálhatták meg megölni a minisztert.
Kornet korábban az ukrán belügyminisztériumban dolgozott, de hamar átpártolt az oroszok oldalára, 2014-ben pedig máris a szakadár állam belügyére lett. Azóta alaposan bebiztosította magát, és részt vett abban a puccsban is, amellyel megdöntötték 2017-ben a szakadárok akkori katonai vezetőjének, Igor Plotnyickijnek a hatalmát. Moszkva végül Korneték oldalára állt.

A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Faina Szavenkova elbeszéléseket, esszéket, színdarabokat, forgatókönyveket ír. Idén jelent meg Alekszandr Kontorovics orosz íróval közösen írt Akik mögötted állnak című könyve. Neve akkor vált ismertté, amikor az orosz interneten közzétett egy videoüzenetet, amelyben az ENSZ BT tagjaihoz és Emmanuel Macron francia elnökhöz fordulva Donbász elpusztításával vádolta meg az ukrán fegyveres erőket, és azt kérte tőlük, hogy ne feledkezzenek meg arról, a donbászi gyermekeknek is joguk van a békés élethez.

A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) közleménye szerint a július 8-ra már 30 személyt, köztük 13 gyermeket kellett evakuálni Szmoljaninovo településről és további 30 embert kellett elköltöztetni.
A helyszínre már megérkezett Arszen Avakov belügyminiszter, Olekszij Danilov, a nemzetbiztonsági tanács titkára, Mikola Csecsotkin, a DSZNSZ vezetője és Ihor Klimenko országos rendőrparancsnok. Avakov elmondta, hogy a helyszínen a DSZNSZ, a nemzeti rendőrség és nemzeti gárda 1200 munkatársa, 200 speciális jármű és repülőgép oltja a tüzet.

A közlemény szerint az államfő munkalátogatásra érkezett Luhanszk megyébe a Novoajdari járásban pusztító kiterjedt erdőtüzek miatt. Zelenszkij a helyszínen megszemléli a tűz által érintett területet, meghallgatja a megye kormányzójának a katasztrófavédelem munkatársainak jelentését az erdőtüzek megfékezésére hozott intézkedésekről.
Luhanszk megyében harmadik napja tombolnak a tüzek, eddig 5 ezer hektárnyi erdő égett le. A lángokban 100 épület semmisült meg, hatan meghaltak, kilenc személyt, közte két gyermeket kórházban kezelnek.
A helyzet súlyosságára tekintettel Szerhij Hajdaj, Luhanszk megye kormányzója szerdán a kormánytól kérte, hogy a térségben tomboló kiterjedt erdőtüzeket nyilvánítsa állami szintű rendkívüli helyzetté. A tüzek oltásában 1 125 fő és 201 technikai eszköz, köztük két repülőgép vesz részt.

Terrorcselekmény-sorozatot akadályoztak meg a hatóságok szombaton Luhanszk megyében, ahol egy leszerelt katona, aki korábban a kelet-ukrajnai konfliktusövezetben szolgált, Szeverodoneckben egy katonai kórház, Rubizsne városban pedig a vasútállomás teherpályaudvarának felrobbantására készült – közölte honlapján az Ukrán Főügyészség.
A jelentés szerint az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) munkatársai a katonai hírszerzés nyomozati adatai alapján őrizetbe vettek egy leszerelt katonát, aki 2018–2019-ben a Doneck megyei hadműveleti területen teljesített szolgálatot, és azt tervezte, hogy az ütközővonalat átlépve szolgálatra jelentkezik a megszálló orosz hatóságoknál Luhanszk megyében.
Szökése előtt az elfogott ATO-s veterán több katonai infrastrukturális létesítmény felrobbantására készült. Pokolgépet helyezett el az 59. sz. szeverodonecki katonai kórház mellett, amelyben 170 beteget kezelnek. Ugyancsak robbanóanyagot telepített a rubizsnei vasútállomás katonai rakományokat fogadó teherpályaudvarának vágányai alá.
A volt ATO-s őrizetbe-vételekor a nyomozók felkutatták és lefoglalták a robbanószerkezeteket. A hatóságok folytatják a bűncselekmény körülményeinek tisztázását.
